[ArcEmu] Server wont start Win7 problem

hi there, i have been working with servers for around 3 years now, have compiled many over the years but this has got me stumped. i managed to successfully compile a server on windows 7 64bit a while back, but then left the emulation for a while and went back to retail. A few motnhs ago i went to update my server, everything was successful but ever since the server world and logon server error when the program starts, i figured it would be a weird update and it would be fixed, but ti still hasnt. ive tried a complete server re-install, changing the dll's etc etc but nothing seems to work.

it doesnt even begin to load the server, just the application.

    any ideas?
    thanks in advance

it looks like i covered the console up, but i didnt, it just stays the solid black.

    Tag your threads properly.

Make sure you've got .net framework, i've got 4.0 and it works fine on Win7.

Did you compile for 64bit? Not 32bit? Double check you have got the right .dll's, i have Win 7 and it has worked for ages.

    I compiled this for 32-bit
64 bit just says it skipped all 15.
all the DLL's are fine, copied the updated ones numerous times to see if it fixed the error.

i also have .net framework 4 installed.

sorry for the slow reply, had to go out.

In theroy it should work fine, but it does seem to be a error cos of 64bit.

Your using Express im going to guess? Someone on here had a way to make it compile at 64bit. But i really cant rememebr how.

no problem, thankyou for your help

the things thats getting me is i actually compiled the server a long time ago, and it started and worked fine, when i updated it it started to give this application error. since then i have reformatted my computer, installed framework 4 from 3.5, deleted the server and started again with new dll's and source codes but it still does this. anymore ideas? compiles are coming back all successful and everything is in order.

Hmm.. something that could be worth doing is trying to re-download .Net framework, and see if a file or two didn't get copied over, thats all i can think off.
