Believe so... I followed a guide where I used tortoise svn and pasted links they gave me...
Is there a quickfix to this?

go to the mangos source folder, then go to the folders "contrib/extract" and copy ad.exe to your WoW directory. Run AD with admin privledges and after about 10 mins when its finished replace your old dbc and maps folders with the new ones
Hmmmm... I followed that exact step just before I made this thread.
you have client 3.2.2a?
I patched WoW all the way to 3.3.
The thread I followed said that its guide was tested with 3.3 and worked.
mangos only supports patch 3.2.2a right now, so you have to patch down or wait a few more weeks to start your server.
Don't suppose it's easy to patchdown and get this server going?
Do I have to redo the whole process now? How does one patch down? Just run the 3.2.2a patcher?
rename wow.exe to something else and run repair.exe to patch down. then patch up to 3.2.2a
Once I patch back to 3.2.2a, should I go back and run all those SQL dumps that error'd out before?
your database should be ok, try running mangosd.exe after you patch to 3.22a and extract dbc+maps and see if it loads
Seems to be working so far.. Testing out the server now!
Its working great!
Only problem is.. I went into my mangos.conf file and enabled vmaps.
Now when I start mangosd.exe I get this..
edit: I'd reaaaally like to have LoS. One of the reasons I compiled from scratch was to fix LOS issues with corpses being in the ground and monsters aggroing/running through walls!Code:Using DataDir ./ WORLD: VMap support included. LineOfSight:1, getHeight:0 WORLD: VMap data directory is: ./vmaps WORLD: VMap config keys are: vmap.enableLOS, vmap.enableHeight, vmap.ignoreMapId s, vmap.ignoreSpellIds VMap file './vmaps/000_43_31.vmdir' is missing or point to wrong version vmap fi le, redo vmaps with latest vmap_assembler.exe program Correct *.map files not found in path './maps' or *.vmap/*vmdir files in './vmap s'. Please place *.map/*.vmap/*.vmdir files in appropriate directories or correc t the DataDir value in the mangosd.conf file.
Thats easy, in the folder where you found the db extractor theres a vmap extractor, use that on a 3.2.2 client and copy the vmaps folder with all the map files into your server folder.
Then go into the config and enable vmaps.
restart and tadaa!
Laniax when I ran the extractor it just gave me a new folder called buildings with a lot of .wmo files and such in it.. I just copy/paste this folder to my Server folder?
Hm dont think thats the answer because the mangosd.exe still crashes with the same error message.
edit: There must be more to it than just running the extractor and copying the folder buildings to my server folder![]()
