Problem - Connecting to regular servers and not private server

I've experianced a new problem today. For some reason, when I try to connect to my private server (not public) I get the blizzard servers. I went and changed my realmlist.wtf file to SET Realmlist 127.0.0.1 and erased the rest, started my server, deleted the WTF and Cache folders and ran WoW.exe and logged in and got the blizzard servers. I tried logging in normally at first then used my login for blizzard servers and it let me in. I tried getting on another server and it worked. Any idea why it's not letting me connect to my server? Also, the website works when I type in firefox 127.0.0.1 so I'm not sure what the problem is, maybe with wow.exe?

Have you been trying to log in with the launcher, If so the launcher will change your realmlist.wtf when you open it.

Try running wow.exe with administrator privileges.

I figured it out. If you try to connect with 127.0.0.1 it takes u to the regular realms. I had to connect using a dns.

What this is, is because of the fact that they interigated support for battle.net accounts no matter what the realmlist is. So its important that you login properly.
