Appache Port 80 Problem

well i have been trying to create an account page for some time now
and ive used serveral programs to get this working
i think i have found out the reason. but dont no how to fix it
apache required port 80 but im pritty sure port 80 is in use on my computor
when i used wamp the only service that did not start was apache.
help would be appreciated.

Port 80 is used for web browsing, so if your browsing the web it's already open. Yes, it has to be in use for web browsing, but if it's required for Apache, then I assume it doesn't need to be completely free... o.O I suggest wait more experienced answers, but I thought I'd give you what I know.
