    Port forwarding problem

Yes, I forwarded all my ports to try to have my friend connect to my server. He was unable to connect. I figured this was a problem with my 3724 port, i though i forgot to add it, turns out, i didn't, it's added. so i tried using
    Code:
    http://utorrent.com/testport.php?port=
The utorrent port checker said my 3724 wasn't opened, even though according to my router, it is. Anybody know what this could be? +Rep for answers :]

Does your server machine itself has a firewall? Maybe the port is blocked there

If you are absolutely certain nothing is being blocked in your internal network, it might be worth the effort to contact your ISP to ask if (and why) they blocked this port. You wouldnt be the first one to find out after days of search that the block was at the ISP side.

To see if a port in particular is blocked or not, there are also several tools available on internet you can use like:

Open Port Check Tool - Test Port Forwarding on Your Router or
    Open Port Check Tool

If al needed ports are indeed open and your friend still can not connect, you might have a configuration problem, and you should relook at your settings to make your server public.

    good luck

You should post your configs, and tell us what emulator you are using. And are you sure that you forwarded those ports correctly? I thought I was forwarding ports correctly once but I was completely wrong, maybe you are doing something wrong there. What router are you using?
