application has failed to start

im pretty sure this is a problem with something i havent installed windows side. every time I try to start up any server build (been through about 4 now) i get the same error:
"<path to the application> The application has failed to start because the application was configurated incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem."
I just got back into the priv server community after about a half year break so if theres something new thats going on here that I dont know about feel free to tell me hehe any imput is welcome

when I try to start realmd.exe or mangos.exe, basically the server

Try downloading .NET Framework 3.5 then running it.

fixed it thanks, cant believe i forgot about .net, guess I lost it when i reformatted
