    Lan connection and combat help

    I recently set up a private server using {Johved's_Repack_v2.1.0_WoW_3.0.9} and setting it up with ArcEmu. I got it all set up and i can run it off my comp no problem.

    There are two things that i need some help with if anyone understands then thank you.

    1.) Setting up my server for LAN.

    I did the what was suggested to be in a guide which was change

    <Realm1 Name = "our server"

    Address = "127.0.0.1:8129" <----- to my Router LANIP
    Icon = "PVP"
    Population = "1.0"
    TimeZone = "1">

    and then changing the Realmlist to match the LANIP for connection but didnt work.

    Tried just about every combination with the realms config even tired it with the

    <LogonServer Address = "127.0.0.1"
    Port = "8093"
    Name = "Default Logon"
    RealmCount = "1">
    Now this server runs off somethign called user control panel, which has all you SQL, world start and Logonserver, could i change out the logonserver with hamachi (id prefer not to go that way) but any ideas?

    2.) i have all my settings for this server set up but when i am in combat in my server all my character is able to do is "miss... miss... miss" is there a setting somewhere in there that i have missed that does the rates of hits or something like that?

    Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and if anyone is able to help me out then thank you so much

    You probably solved this problem, but I'll post this reply anyway.

    These instructions are if you just want to set your arcemu server up to support incoming connections within a LAN, (i.e. You have two or more PC's, with one of them running the emulator.)

    On the PC running the emulator:

    Change only the Realm name and address located at the bottom of the realms.conf file as follows and you should be sweet.

    Realm1 Name = "Insert name that always seems lame here"
    Address = // <----- Go to start -> run -> type 'cmd' -> type the command ipconfig <enter> -> and look for your 'internal' ip address eg 192.168.2.6.

    Icon = "PVP" //Default
    Population = "1.0" //Default
    TimeZone = "1"> //Default

    PS. you will need to use this IP address in the realmlist.WTF files in the wow folders on your other PC's in order for them to connect to the Emulator.

    PPS. The PC running the emulator is wow ready as long as the realmlist.WTF points to 127.0.0.1

    Hope this helps someone.
