Please help ... voiding character table crash ...

sometimes when computer get s power off and i start it again then try to enter ascent it says

.\character\characters' is marked as crashed and last (automatic?) repair failed

Please tell me how to avoid this or how to recuperate characters back /?

i tried to repair table with navicat and phpmyadmin but fail and i need put put another old database

please help me and tell me how to avoid and recuperate back characters

Avoiding table crashes.. Try not pulling the plug out of your PC while your server is running.
As for fixing it, the command REPAIR should do the trick.
