Does AspireCore support 3.0.3?

I was looking around, and everyone talks about 3.0.2 support. However, the latest live build is 3.0.3 (9183)... and so basically I'm wondering why developers didn't aim for 3.0.3. Also, I decided to crawl out from under the MaNGOS rock and join the Ascent+derivatives commmunity. Which fork is the best for a low-population (like, 10 people) server trying to stay up with the latest patches (and expansions, as it were). So far, it seems AspireCore. Oh, and DB recommendations? I'm hearing NCDB or WhyDB, but what are the pros and cons of each? I want something very blizzlike, such as UDB.

Oh, I read about 3.0.3 repack, and while that's all fine and dandy, I enjoy having control over what I run, so I prefer to build from source.

lol, this may seem trivial, but for the life of me, I just can't stand GIT. I'd take CVS over that.
