Sweet I got the talent points working now I'm whoopin some ass.

I am having trouble getting other classes talents to train
1.If their talent is a 40 point talent do i need 40 points in one of my trees to learn the ability, and does it have to be a certain tree.
2.I did the spell id conversion with the calculator and was coming up with different results Pally Divine Strength = 2A4F with calculator but we know its AA05
3.if there is a connected skill tree do i have to learn them in order to get the top ability,what I'm going for is to have my pally have Dual Wield and have flurry and enrage,

and then im going to try to figure out the trainers and teach him some windfury action.

1. Let's say, you want mage talent "Water Elemental" and it's on Frost Tree. You need 40p in that tree because it's reg for that talent.
2. There is many ID's - you can use sniffer or keep searching.
3. If you've a druid but you want mage skills/spells you must add them as you would be a mage.

123 thanks for all ur help so far, But i am still abit stuck i will explain what i am doing. I log on to my rouge go to the rouge trainer the first 1 u go to in durotar then i start sniffing, left click the trainer then stop it. i Look a 14 size packet that i sent i find one that looks like this:

9A EA F1 40 39 C7 70 01 00 00 01 00 00 00

so i assume that the trainer id is 70 01, i jump on to my hunter and do the same thing for that trainer, i get the result of

69 80 C7 FB DD 63 28 00 00 00 01 00 00 00

so i assume that the trainer id is 28 00. i then go to Thottbot World of Warcraft: Aimed Shot and find the learn spell hex id by putting 20931 in calculator and making it hex i get "51C3" so i make that "C3 51". then i do the same thing for Thottbot World of Warcraft: Stealth. result when made hex is "6FD" so i make that id "FD 06". Now what in do is on the filter in coloum 7/8 search i put 28 00 and in 7/8 modify i put 70 01.

Then in 15/16 search i put in "C3 51" then in 15/16 Modify i put in "FD 06" after that i press apply then i turn on the filter then when i click train nothing happen i don't learn the spell that i want or the one i would get without the filter on i can spam train but nothing happens. Please help 123 i am lost i don't understand what i am doing wrong........

You're doing everything correct jjaa. This doesn't work on current servers, regardless of what 123 says, imho. I did everything exactly as he details and it just doesn't work. Much like how it's not possible to change items you buy from vendors. They've closed the loop holes that allowed you to buy spells from different classes.

Packet Size for any NPC ( Trainers ) is 14. 7/8 column is (trainer) npc ID.

How do you get the information for the 15/16 slots if the packet size is only 14??? No way trainers are 14, try again.

but on HS wow which is 2.2.2 i have been able to change the items that you buy from vendors i did the same thing but with item id's and vendor id's rather then spell id's and trainer id's. The limit on it is that i can only buy items that i can buy from other vendors, i can't just get any item.

How do you get the information for the 15/16 slots if the packet size is only 14??? No way trainers are 14, try again.

oh and the 15/16 slots are the learn id so if you start sniffing then learn the spell then stop you should find a 18 size packet and 15/16 are the spell id and 7/8 are the trainers id, the packet size 14 is when u just click on the trainer normally (to target)

after some more testing i have so far been able to learn a different spell within the same trainer all i did was change the aimed shot learn spell id to wyrven sting learn spell id in 15/16 and it worked. so i think i am doing somthing wrong with the trainers id's

The ascent devs have already made reference here when they talk about patching hacks.

The longer it takes them to figure out why people almost have three full talent trees the better.
