the max build has to be at 9999 and minbuild leave it alone

k well everything went smooth.. no error until i tried to login..

It says the password/username is incorrect but im sure its right what i putted in my accounts tab in navicat.
I tried multiple accounts but still same error.. also tried to make an account in ascent.exe it says it makes it but i still get incorrect username/pass

I think it cant read my accounts tab in my db but i double checked everything and no typo's

Heres my ascent.conf : (password is correct, thurst me)

Have you made an account in the accounts table in your SQL database?
This is what you gotta do;

1. connect to your database.
2. Find the table ''accounts''
3. Make an account

Acct: The next number in the line, lets say the last one is 1, then you make yourse 2, and then 3 etc
login: Login account name
password: password for the account
gm: 1 - almost no power Gm,
2 - A little more power,
3 - More power than 2.
And 4 - Admin, most powers of all.

banned: 0
lastlogin: leave blank
lastip: leave blank
email: leave blank
flags: set to 8 for burning crusade and 0 for normal
forcelanguage: leave default
muted: 0 ( leave default )

Then restart server, or go to the ascentlogon.exe file and write
restartaccounts in there. And the accounts has been reloaded.

if you are getting this error you must
first, make the account in the table, if it is not EXACT! that meens spaces and caps MUST be included it wont work right
then you go into the logonserver window thats running the server and type "reload" (without the "") THEN you can logon. if it says theres no code like that, make sure ur in the logonserver now antrix
NOTE! FOR THE SECOND PART OF THIS, IM NOT TALKING ABOUT THE CONFIG FILES! IM TALKING ABOUT THE ACTUAL RUNNING THING THAT THE SERVER RUNS OFF OF, IT SHOULD BE IN A SEPERATE WINDOW

That problem beerwizard and the person you quoted can easily be fixed by doing this....go to your logonserver.conf and change this

MaxBuild = "9999">

Or something similar like this.....and change it to this...


<Client MinBuild = "1"
MaxBuild = "9999">

Are you executing them in the Ascent database? ( Right click it and press Execute batch file )

make sure you are unziping the files BEFORE you execute them
they must be unziped from the repack you downloaded
