Okay Ive got a question. I made mine live last night, but when my friend try's to log in he gets to the realm list and he clicks on the realm list and it takes him in then kicks him out. Any idea's?

ok... heres a quick unoffical guide for portals im just pulling out of the air but it works =p

open up your scripts and insert this code to a notepad. just copy and past a script thats allready there then delete whats in the coppy and replace it with this


function Teleporting_moo (pUnit, Event, pMisc)
pMisc:Teleport (1, -8078.384766, -122.000336, 8.876727)
end
RegisterGameObjectEvent (424244, 2, "Teleporting_moo")


in the code the (1, -8078.384766, -122.000336, 8.876727) is the cords that ur at
the 1 is the map id, the -8078.384766 is the X cord, then Y, then the Z
at the bottom where it says
RegisterGameObjectEvent (424244, 2, "Teleporting_moo")
the 424244 is the entry id for a GO that ur ganna make later. the 424244 is from an id for a port i have.

next go to ur database and find a portal display id you want
go down and make a new gameobject under the table gameobject_names
make sure this code is the same as the one u enterd in the RegisterGameObjectEvent
then fill out the tables
do a server restart (only way to reload scripts)
then say your spawn id was 424244
ud go to where u want ur portal and type .go spawn 424244 1 (the 1 is there so the GO stays after a server restart) AND YOUR DONE!

this is the BEST repack out there... ZA and evertything is FULLY spawned... not like those 99% spawned places that have ZA... this is 100%!!!

sometimes it kicks people for using GM commands
u gata go into the ascent config and disable the hack protection

I got mine working but when me and my freind go to create characters it disconnects usd wtf??

I used this guide to create a server and i can get it to wrok except my server cant save charater items. it looks like it does when i logout but when i log back in my guy is totally naked...i tryed .save and .saveall and im sure the save thing in the acsent.conf is set to 30,000 milsecs(5 min) and even if im on for an hour it still wont save. and i've tryed contacting OP through Xfire but he is never on i guess.

I dont understand what do to in the text file when it says

just run the character.sql in a new database then in the
same database execute SPDB after done with that just edit
your config files, ascent.conf logonserver.conf and
realms.conf, accordingly at your needs, the remote password
has already been changed so you dont need to edit that also
the die messages were removed, after finishing editing the
configs, open your account table and make a new account for you,
then execute logonserver.exe and ascent.exe and you are done
