I had that.
You have got the char file incorrect.
Look in your .conf files and make sure the character database is right.

ascent.conf file??
because i dont have that
and your before post when u told me above..i didnt see anything above that helped me

You don't have ascent-world.conf?
If not, post again with what versiob of Ascent you have

hey I still havent gotten mysql to work!. Which is frustrating considering this seems like a very good server, I just downloaded another repack with mysql client included, meaning no install, but it doesent work very well, and I would greatly like to use yours! I read the pdf file and it did not really help me that much, do you think this will work with a different sql application? Such as sqylog?

Its the MySQL that is not working.
You could try and use PostgreSQL I guess...

Note; this is UNTESTED and I am not sure whether it will work...
You will also need a different version of Navicat which can be found here

Sorry about the late reply, MMOwned is playing up for me...

You don't have an Ascent folder?
Then you can't run a server without it.

The .conf files that need to be changed are:
ascent-world.conf
ascent-logon.conf
and another .conf file (can't remember name sorry, nearly home so should be able to update then)

The character.sql is included in the fullspbd.sql file.
