can some one help me out im having trouble finding out where the
Browse to the place you've putted the SQL database folder, and select "ascent_char" thats an .SQL file
and the w do the exact thing again, but rightclick on "ascent_world" and select Restore From SQL Dump.. With the browsing and executing.

i found the MSCVR71.dll file and i run everything perfectly fine but when i open the ascent.exe it says
"Unterminated Block
7:46 E Config: >> realms.conf
'some error message pops up but the command closes to fast to see what it says'"

Find the place were u put the SQL folder if its on desktop or in the AC Web Repack folder. Once you find it open up SQLyog. If you dont have the database names ascent_char or ascent_world make them. Then right click ascent_char click restore from SQL then click the ... button to browse find the SQL folder then click the ascent_char SQL then click execute once thats down click cancel then to the same for the ascent_world

i got an older ac version and i cant delete it or download the newer version, can anyone help?

When I play WoW: I'm logging in and dobbleclick on the character!
The loading i coming up but it disconnect after 1 second!
What is wrong?

ok i followed the guide exactly ,
so i double click on logonserver
then when it says hooking signals i click on ascent
its says

Undetermined Block
10:13 E config: >> realms.conf

also does it matter when making the server if i change things like the realm name and the drop rates?

please help

Uhh yeah. I got everything, and i mean EVERYTHING working perfectly fine up until the very end.

I boot up Logonserver.exe and after a sec it gets stuck on

Connecting to MySQL server on 'localhost' with (root: xxxxxxxx)



and then it closes. When I try ascent after this, it gets all the way to connecting to localhost , and then it says unable to connect to localhost and shuts down as well. Dunno what i did wrong in localhost, need help. Thanks.

When you've typed in the account settings, press the [save] button.. Also a little diskett or something (sry about the spelling)

I'm sure that you've typed in the wrong password in the config file.. Use the same password as the one you use to get into the SQLyog databases and that

Because you have wrong Game Version tp play, have the same problem, you need to uppgrade you server then.

after lots of screw ups i finally got it up (it claims to be) but when i go into wow it says connecting, then unable to connect, i have made an account in the SQL ascent it up but still wont work

note - my localhost is 10.1.1.1 not 127.0.0.1
