It worked fine until I got to verifying security for MySQL. I turned off firewall, no dice, uninstalled/reinstalled over 10 times. Any ideas?

Also I clicke dhte little arrow thing in Navicat, now i can click on the connection I want. Any help would be nice.

If you have to set up the server as an internet server for this, that's a problem, 'cuase all I really wanted was a LAN server, not a singleplayer server, not an internet server.

when I start Ascent.exe it says "ascent.exe has stopped working". why ?

edit: though i can login but there's no servers!

guys, i did EVERYTHING, i have MySQL stuff, i've got Navicat, and i've got Mafiaboy's Repack...... i've one through all the steps and i have everything set up, but there's one problem i nee dhelp with...

the Logonserver.exe and ascent.exe are weird programs, when i open them they aren't doing anything, i'm stuck with a loading screen mouse, and nothing happens. my task manager shows that all i have is "Stub" running...which is on and off and i can't "end program", it spawns back.....so excuse me if i'm a total tool that screwed something up, but i need help.

it's not really telling me much for "Error: !!!!"...so i have no idea what to look for, help would be much appreciated
