Ok is working the only problem that i have is that there is no NPC in the world spawn any buddy know how to fix this i know there is a query that u put and it get fix but i dont find it and is a new rev the old query mite not work

its an actually ascent problem.

will prolly be fixed next db release.

Good guide.. Setting up took a bit long.. but other than that, great...

However, one problem, I log in and press 'Create new Character', customise my character and press 'Create Character' and it goes to the select character screen and there are no characters... What's wrong?

Hmmm that is wierd... when i do it i always get my character... did u leave the Sql on or no?? Sry for double post

Try editing your ascent config file so it looks like the following.... it fixed it for me... i think thats what i did anyway

<WorldDatabase Hostname = "127.0.0.1" Username = "root" Password = "*****" Name = "Ascent" Port = "3306" Type = "1">
<CharacterDatabase Hostname = "127.0.0.1" Username = "root" Password = "*****" Name = "Accounts" Port = "3306" Type = "1">
