but i have created account WTF?

Better fix for ur db... rather than having to use a different one.

query "Alter table creature_names add column mouseFlags int(30) not null default 0 after subname;" in ur world db (with out the "")

world db=ascent

Hey herleybob great guide...but when I run the logonserver.exe I'm getting the error as the following...

sql query failed due to [Table 'ascent.accounts' doesn't exist], Query: [SELECT
acct, login, password, gm, flags, banned, forcelanguage FROM accounts]
sql query failed due to [Table 'ascent.ipbans' doesn't exist], Query [SELECT ip,
expire FROM ipbans]

I created an account in the account data base table and saved of course, restarted SQLyog to refresh just incase and nothing is working...please help

Are the accounts and world database suppose to be 1 database? because it says accounts dont exist when I run the logon.exe program. Everything is starting up it just doesnt say theres any accounts in the database

hey, im pretty new here, but anywho, getting to the point. Ive gone past the last part were i activate the server to login and all, and for some reason it wont let me in, ive changed my Pw many times, and created other account names. ive made sure that it it actually talking to my server not blizz, i tried to log onto my rl account, and i couldnt. im not sure if this will help or not but ascent at the very bottom after loading the logon, it gave me this:

sql query failed due to [table 'ascent.characters' doesn't exist], query [SELECT acct from characters}

thats what your sql Jog should look like.

accounts and ascent is two different db's

so open sqljog and press crtl+D and in that box type ascent

then do ctrl+D again and type in accounts.

then run your tools.exe

sorry for double post :P
but im getting a new error tho.
when i start logonserver.exe and ascent.exe they give me the error "access denied for user roo@localhost" ...i know that you can fix that easily but how? ...im a newb with working with sql :P
