no that did not work , here is what it says

I can't get Logonserver.exe to work. it says:

sql: Logon database parameters not found.


Then when i start Ascent.exe it says:

Connection failed. Will try again in 10 seconds.
Connecting to logonserver on 127.0.0.1:8129`...
Authenticating...
Authentication timed out.

same with mine, it keeps saying Authentication has timed out.

can ne1 help me? im trying to run the importer.exe but when i run it and hit "w" it says it cant connect to localhost. Ive changed the pass to mysql about 3x and it still doesnt work. and yes i changed the pass in the .conf files to.

ok im haveing a problem wiht loging in it says wrong user name or pass and i made the account already and when i started logonserver.exe i messed with it a little and found out the command reload and after that it said

i wonder if i need to put accounts inside of ascent??? and if i do can u tell me how to like drag the accounts db to the ascent db on mysql?

I can't seem to create a dranei or blood elf for some reason. I used this set up on my laptop and it worked fine but when I set it up on my pc I can't seem to create them. Any suggestions?

go to your mysql and go to accounts then go to the table data tab and were it says flags with the create account table type 8

I got everything down to the importer then i put the password in and that worked. Then pressed W and that worked untill it got to [Importing] Items Tables. and has just been sitting there for like 4 hours. whats wrong??

My NPC's seem to be working just fine, but I am still getting this error message. Is this something that I should be worried about?

Followed guide exactly, made my username in the SQLyog administrator and password as administrator and not matter what stuff I change I cannot log on!!!
Also Ascent.server_settings doesn't exist the DOS screen prompts me... anyone help??

Ascent CONF (I think this is the problem the acscent.exe is having:

<WorldDatabase Hostname = "localhost" Username = "root" Password = "ascent" Name = "ascent" Port = "3306" Type = "1">
<CharacterDatabase Hostname = "localhost" Username = "root" Password = "ascent" Name = "accounts" Port = "3306" Type = "1">

Logonserver CONF (Possibly part of the problem):

<LogonDatabase Hostname = "localhost"
               Username = "root"
               Password = "ascent"
               Name     = "Ascent"
               Port     = "3306"
               Type     = "1">

i get the same problem but i actually starts the server then says the thin he highlighted. when i go to login it acts like i put in the wrong password. sorry if you already answered this. I'm sorta to lazy to read 26 pages.
