I got everything working until i sign in. when i do the realm doesnt appear in the list. what do i do?

Had this issue but found a fix !

Make sure the " RemotePassword = "Ascent" " in the middle of ascent.conf matches the one you entered in loginserver.conf to the letter ! had a "ascent" on one and a "Ascent" on the other changing them both to the same let them authenticate

I tryed this and i cannot get it to work still they both say RemotePassword = "ascent"> any other things that could casue it??

I fixed that but now i cant do step 8 it says I should have a bunch of tables but i dont even have one.

Sorry for bumping put when ever i run importer and put in W it says

ERROR 1045 <28000>: Access denied for user 'Root'@'localhost' <using password: YES>

Well hello. HerleyBob, your guide, and everything is wonderful. It took a bit of tweeking to hash things out in the configs before everything played nice, but all and all, good job!

Now that the server IS up and running, I've hit an issue...

Most NPC's work, the only ones not doing things are the flight masters and..well, any kind of travel out there.

Is this something to do with the databases used or...something more?

I'd like to work on this and hash it out, tinkering can be so much fun, but a little nudge in the right direction would be wonderful.

nice, figured everytihng out. all i need to do now is the pach for the npc's, hopefully that will solve it.

got question too, anyone know commcands for .learn? like i can enter few random ones and i get radom spells, just wondering if anyone know spefic ones, i dont want to guess all of them

go through your ascent.conf, logonserver.conf and realms.conf verify all the logins, 'root' and your password, whatever that may be are all in the right order. Caps matters in this case so either recreate the SQL database with lower case 'root' or upper case 'Root' as well as anything that querys the database with 'Ascent' or 'ascent' check the caps on everything.
