Ascent N00B Server Creation Instructions (Hamachi)

Hey, when I try to open Ascent.exe it flashes and goes away, what's going on? I turned on logonserver.exe, and I have mysql running. Whats goin on?

I think im doing somthing wrong on exacute batch files(
1).do you click on continue on errors
and
2).on guide it says like 10min to finish but it takes like over 3hours for me
BTW my computer specs


i have 1GB RAM and 225GB of memory im using windows vista home premium so can you post how long it takes to exacute and if you can your computer specsyou guys(or girls)

Whenever it does a query it says [Err] 1046 - No database selected and [Err] INSERT INTO 'creature_spawns and some values im pretty sure this isnt right what am i doing wrong? I'm letting the thing run but i dont want to sit through this for no reason

How come when i try to load Ascent.exe, it flashed for a split second and disappear? does this work with the new blizzard patch 2.2.2.7318?

I tried running this but when launching logonserver.exe I got an error from vista saying that logonserver.exe has stopped working and it complained about some DLL

Dosnt work.. at all.. Logonserver, ascent, realmserver pops up for a second.. dosnt work for me.

Same problem i've got, when i'm in WoW and login on, it keep saying: Connecting, then it fails and say: "Help" or "Okay"...

Well everything works so far, but when ascent.exe runs thorugh its proscess it goes a long way, and then it just close, now what?

EDIT: Did you remember to extract the maps? Maybe that's the problem, for both questions about No Realm and Acent.exe flashes and goes away.

Yeah i extracted the maps, but im not 100% sure of where to put the "map" folder now.

I still got that login error when i push ascent.exe (failiure thingy)

and i doubel,tripple +++++ times check all my usernames and passwords. and i dunno what is wrong cos all passwords are correct!

+rep on you guide, i realize your hard work, but im getting a problem like one of the previous users of this guide. When i run my "logonserver.exe" it runs smooth. When i run "Ascent.exe" everything goes good until it tries to find the realm. The "realmserver.exe" doesn't allow me to access and use it. Thus i can't get into my server.

Also, If you dont want to use hamachi instead use the ip 127.0.0.1, instead of the fields with the hamachi ip address. This means noone can join though,
