Easy way to make a 2.1.X Server

would my problem and many others have anything to do with the port? when i start antrix it says " Connecting to default login at X.XXX.XXX.XX:XXXX" and that port number isn't in the hamachi number at the top of my program but in some of the .conf files. Am i supposed to add that in all the places where i have my Hamachi port number?

First of all, awesome guide, took me about 2 hours to get the whole thing done.

But after all is done and I go into wow and select 'Burning Crusade' Realm, I either stay 'Connected' or 'Logging into Game Server' for a very long time, any ideas?

I got everything running, made myself lvl 70, and I'm running around in the Outlands. I was just curious why I couldn't go into most isntances, and how come mobs random smack me for 8k with an invisible armageddon? This is my first time running a priv server, just curious to wtf is going on.

I just got my server up and running but i cannot get any of the GM commands to work. Is there anything i need to do?

Hey i did all the steps got everything running went to put in my username/password and it says they are wrong, i went back to check and all the info i put in is right.. any idea what the problem is?

Great guide, Got a few friends on but they get Disconnected alot, anyone know why? they log in and they cant talk or do emotes and other peoples names say unknown and about a min later get disconnected.

ok i have everthing done i just have some bugs there are no npcs on gm island everything has low hp i cant buy all my spells thats the first things i found when i played for about 5 mins.

I've been having a problem once all the executables load. I'm sure it is some setting I overlooked.

Once I attempt to login I get stuck at "Connected". When I look at the logonserver.exe window, it reads:

"Sessionkey sent for account ACCOUNT NAME, err 0"

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, and kudos to a wonderful guide. This is the closest I've gotten to getting a private server running.

GM Island seems to be bugged a lot, just use the areas in the BE start area that no one can get to.

ok i fooled around with some of the things and now instead of going: logging into realm>realm selection screen> logging into realm> etc etc..: it goes : realm selection screen>Connected message...............45 hours later ............

anyone run into this problem and survive?
