if its just the MySQL... uninstall and reinstall the program

Does anyone know what the Build rev of this Mangos is?

also i have the following in excell if anyone needs it

teleport locations (.go X Y Z mapnumber coords are slightly off on some.... kinda under the world, over it, in it, and all the fookin over the place)

full item list (with T6 added and just pure mangos.sql extracted to the emulator)

command list ( all active command lines with explanation)

Hi all. Umm Im going to be a little different..... I have a problem in game where I talk to the guards and it gves me the page with the greeting and the "How can I help you" button but the How can I help you" button doesnt work. Im not sure how to fix it but if someone knows it would be greatly appreciated!

there is no "fix" for it without creating the npc files to create it.

i have been going thru the "updates sql" ...

do not run them all, half of them dont work and bug, after running the updates the mongos.exe will not load past the npc vendor loading.

this doesnt work...everytime i click test connection
it says
1045-Access Denied for user root@localhost(using password:YES)

help!

your not using the password or you didnt' modify the config file to show the passwork you used when you created the database.

c/program files/world ofwarcraft/ maps/ ad.exe

but i get errorrunning it plz help

before you run it create a folder named " maps " in the directory

Its only for Patch 2.1.1-2.1.2 ?

nope, i am running 2.2.2 on it and haven't had any issues with it not starting or crashing..


well other then the issues i creat modifiy'n stuff.

only things of note from running 2.2.X

aldor faction hand is are broken
hunters are very broken... will not auto shot, cannot have a pet, stables dont work (not even loaded stable npcs)

you can attempt to run the updates in the update folder and it will do nothings but the mangos.exe when you start it due to to many errors in the database/sql

even just attempting to run patial updates for the hunters and it will still crash.

have yet to try it with 2.2.3

personnaly am waiting for Aurilles repack or green giants that will support 2.2.3 then i am swapping to one of those.. course i will most likely run aurilles and greengaints at the same time to give a PvP and a RP sserver

Hey uhmm, I made a 2.1.3 ManGOS Server with this and I have 17 custom items from WoW-V.com but I went away on vacation for 2 weeks and now my "Navicat For MySQL" doesn't work anymore because it was, apparently, a trial version of the software. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do without paying for the full version? Please PM, post, reply, e-mail, or whatever to get me an answer. Kthxbai! :P

When i click on Execute, on mysql configuration, Prepare configuration is ok, Write configuration file (C:\Program Fi...) is ok too but Start service is red X. and it says Cannot create Windows service for MySQL.Error: 0

this server does not have the NPC help working within it to get the actual help/quest style info from the gaurds. its in the update folder but does not work.

do not copy the "ad.exe" into the "maps" folder

just create a maps folder
the ad.exe goes into the world of warcrat folder, then is exicuted

this will allow a patched 2.2.3 to connect and work. no quests/changes from patch 2.1.1 or higher are applied

open your MySQL and remove instance, then cntrol+alt+del and in task manager shut down all instance that are SQL / Apache running.

then restart your MySQL and recreate the database as outlined in the guide

you have corrupted files in the MySQL folder, which leaves you with 2 optinos.

1. uninstall the MySQL 100%, ensure the directory is also fully deleted, then reinstall it
2. delete the your files located in database folder within the MySQL directory

7c. Now execute the "ad.exe" and wait until that finishes...

simplified as easy as i can make it

open 2 windows..


double click my computer
double click C drive
double click program files
double click world of warcraft

right click center of window
on pop up menu select new
select folder
name folder "maps"

now back to the other window

double click my computer
double click C drive
double click on your emulator folder
right click on "ad.exe"
on pup op menu select "copy"

now switch back to window 1 *world of warcraft folder"
click on "edit" at top
select "paste"

now you should see 2 items added to the world of warcraft.

1. maps folder
2. ad.exe

now double click the "ad.exe"

it will open a dos window and begin a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG process of opening and creating hte files in the "maps folder"

when its done.

right click on ad.exe
select "delete" on the menu

now right click on the "maps" folder
select "CUT" on the menu

now close the "world of warcraft" window

now go back to the "emulator" window

click on "edit" on the top
click on "paste"

now a folder named "maps" should appear in the window

now your done.

I did EVERYtHING exactly. When i went to start up realmd.exe and mangos.exe, and then opened wow, it was unable to connect. So, then i tried restarter.exe, all it does is say server crashed, restarting...restarting...


need some feedback please...anyone
