I got the game running, and I can log in after a few tries..but I can't create a character. When I try, it comes up with "you have been disconnected from the server". How can you get disconnected from your own location?

I think you need to create a character database as well.

Nah character information is stored in the logon database. Or seems to be.

I am having the same problem as Quiet now tough, I can log on to the server but I can't create a character. I get to the character creation screen and select class, race, gender, etc. I type in a name and press accept but then I get disconnected immediately. I've searched the forum but there doesn't seem to be any solution to this problem.

Seems like the problem lies in the playercreatinfo table in the world database, it's missing a column.

Ok, I fixed it. It seems like the playercreateinfo table didn't get updated when I did that so after updating it and the characters table in the logon database everything works like it should.

Is that the "taximask" column? Because I have tha and the problem still seems to exist.

Just a quick question, since I think ArcEmu supports 3.1.x now, will that make any of the files in this tutorial outdated? Like the sqlandscripts and clientextractor files? Will +rep for answer!

Ok I fixed my issue finally, just remade the database and this time ran all of the .bat files.

ace_012, I'd expect most of the files to be outdated, unless they were updated before you downloaded them.

Hi,
Im complete new to this and I failed at first step.

I tried to right click a select SVN Checkout option.
I got the following error msg:

Checkout from svn://arcemu.info/svn/trunk, revision HEAD, Fully recursive, Externals included
Can't connect to host 'arcemu.info': No connection could be made because the
target machine actively refused it.

Can you please help me out?

Yea, I actually went through the process and then I realized it said something about incorrect db so I figured it only supports 3.0.9 so far, as a stable release.

But when I tried to update the source files to whatever the other option is then a stable release, or even update the source files folder for that matter, it says no connection could be made. I'm not sure what the problem is but it seems that ArcEmu's server is down.
So yea, I guess we just have to wait till the server is back up hafe.

Guys I'm a noob in need for help this is the first private server I'm going to make and I was wondering where can I get the realmlist and how can i login to the server I have done all that stands in the guide but I'm compleetly lost of track when I was finished xD
