To check your ports just go to Open Port Check Tool type the port in the box and click Check, at the bottom of the page you will see a message saying Success: I can see your service on <your external IP> port (your port number) or FAILED: I could not see a service on <your external IP> Port (your port number)

Check your realms.conf file and look for 127.0.0.1:4661 change 4661 to 8129.

Also look for 4661 in the rest of your configs (logonserver and world) and change them to 8129 (logonserver uses port 3306 so that shouldnt need editing)

you have just to edit the last number in the url (here 5900)
@Analhammer: Why would you download one through a torrent when PortForward has one you can download directly?

PortForward.com - Free Help Setting up Your Router or Firewall

@Supernova HH: Thanks for sharing that website. That is quite useful. But with the link to the download I put above, it actually shows you the IP you need to put in when you're forwarding ports on a router. It will say

Forward the port you want to test in your router to this IP address: 192.168.0.x
But if you already know the IP address, then I would definitely use that website.

Usually if you click start then run and type cmd and hit enter then you type ipconfig and read your DNS value or internal IP value and type it into the browser it works. why download a program when you can use that or you can go to Open Port Check Tool and look at the IP it shows above the port box and type that in your browser

    For example:
    cmd gives you this info

    IP address:192.168.21.3
    Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
    DNS Mask: 192.168.21.1

You can use that ip or dns mask in your browser to go to your router.

Canyouseeme.org gives you this external IP
    IP: 62.11.35.67
    Port: ----

You can use the IP it gave you on the site in your browser as well
