I compile everything okay, but then when I try to run either Logonserver, or World, I get the error: "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application."

Any thoughts?

well your video is too blurry to read exactly what it says, but from the VERY limited info I have here, I would suggest 2 things. 1) go thru MySQL and make sure you are using the correct password (Doubt that's it but maybe). and
2) go back and check all the config files, I am thinking you missed something in there. Just cross reference to the config layout in the guide, or you could also look at the ones I did for BMXer on the previous page (maybe 2 pages ago), the password would be the only thing you would do different.

Well, at this point my server is useless....I have tried a few different ways to load the DB but SOMETHING is wrong in the DB itself./ I don't know if WhyDB updated to 3.1.0 or what but it's not working. I can't even get in, it auto disconnects every time I try. Since we are not getting answers here, I think I'm just gonna have to try & find a different DB.

**edit** I will also note that before WhyDB moved to the new URL, I had the server running & had made toons and walked around & such. The only problem I saw was horrid lag

**edit #2** Well, I have been poking around the net a bit and....well...maybe it is NOT the DB that is the problem. I just went to Arcemu's wiki & tried the main page & found out it has been hacked! So, I am sure a bunch of the compile parts have been fubar'd. And if you are like me, you update the SVN pretty often so THAT is probably why I am having problems, as well as all of you who have tried to set-up recently. It was Hacked by "spectre", I believe he is one of the many a-holes from Wowlegacy who just can't seem to leave other WoW sites alone. (sigh)


**edit #3** O.K. guys, they have Arc back under control, I updated everything today (Thursday) and rebuilt all of it & I DID get into & create a toon in my server, ran around a bit so you all should be able to get yours working now. BUT, there is still something wrong, every attack on any mob is a miss every single time! now THAT seems like a DB problem...but at least we can get in? :rimshot: :rofl:

The guide calls it the wrong name, it's arcemu-windows-libraries. To get to them, they are in the SVN folder you made and the tree goes like this: "SVN\ArcEmu\trunk\extras\arcemu-windows-libraries".
BTW, I already gave this info in a previous post, all ya got to do is read all the pages

I haven't done anything with my server in a while. I want to get more RAM to try & lower the lag I am getting, but I don't have the funds for it so the project is on hold
I will say this, others have set up their servers since I did mine & have said nothing about the problem so I would guess WhyDB fixed it.
All you can do is try it & see.

I gave up on WhyDB and ended up with RivalDB. Seems to work now with items showing proper stats and being able to attack with weapons.

Nice guide But i have some problems.. i have the spell.dbc and the spellitemenchantment.dbc problem + world can't connect to logon. Can someone please help me? I tried ALOT of different dbc files but none of them works :/ i would really appericate help.
