I got a WoW install at 3.2.2a.
I made that WoW's realmlist.wtf set to 127.0.0.1
I ran my world and logon servers as administrator
I ran my WoW and typed in root / root. (But then again, no matter what I type in it doesn't work).
The error is "Unable to Validate Game Version." But I have 3.2.2.10505, which is what I'm supposed to have right? That's 3.2.2a.
If I'm also here in 2 hours (1.5 now) I'll PM you.
Well I know that other guy is helping you so I won't go in to much here, But I just want to make sure: #1, you are using "wow.exe" to start the game & NOT "launcher.exe"? #2, did you make sure that the data/enUS folder has the ONLY realmlist.wtf? If there are any others anywhere else, they can conflict. Lastly, I have heard that the new Battlenet accounts that Blizzard now requires everyone to have, has caused some problems for some people who try & connect to Pservers. I am not sure of the solution but you can try clearing your cache folder and also the WTF folder (both in the main WoW directory).

Thanks Psycho. Ya I was using wow.exe, and yes there are only 2 sources that ask for my setrealm, the realmlist.wtf in the enUS folder, and the time it asks in the WoW/WTF folder in the config file.
I am 99.9% sure it is "working properly" because if I open my Blizz wow and type in "root" "root" it says I gotta update to Battlenet, but if I do so with my PServer, it says "Unable to Validate Game Version." So I think it's trying to connect properly, but as far as I know ALL My game data is 3.2.2a.
There is a really easy way to tell, Just look in the bottom left corner of the logon screen. It says what game version is running.
If it shows that you are running 3.2.2.10505, Then the next thing I would check is in your "logon.config" file, make sure the client min/max setting is like this:
<Client MinBuild = "10482"
MaxBuild = "10505">

Thanks brah. I was actually very unsure of the version min and max. But still, turns out both are correct. I am indeed running 10505, and the min and max are as you quoted.
What I am doing is running the world server, then running the logon server. After they both are up and running, I open my WoW (which says 3.2.2.10505) and I type in my "root" "root" and it says the game version is wrong.
Here's a quick question...
My Logon Server:
That's my Logon Server. Is it supposed to have 0 registered accounts? And where does it get "Test Realm"? In my realms.conf my realm is named Hyrule. (Yes I'm a Zelda fan).Code:Some Threading Here 00:16 N [Arcemu] AccountMgr: Starting... 00:16 N [Arcemu] InfoCore: Starting... 00:16 N [Arcemu] PatchMgr: Loading Patches... 00:16 N [Arcemu] AccountMgr: Precaching accounts... 00:16 N [Arcemu] AccountMgr: 0 accounts are loaded and ready. Some Threading Here Hooking signals... Success! Ready for connections Authentication request from 127.0.0.1, result OK. Key: 7C1E98955CE824E746EE83491B137BFC85BBDE89 Registering realm `Test Realm` under ID 1. Some Threading Here
Does not exist........Now go to <ArcEmu Source>/trunk/sql/utilities and open ArcEmu DB Updater.bat
o.k., yes indeedy there appears to be a major problem still...let's start with: did you actually make an account in the DB "logon"? Meaning you went in to Navicat, dbl clicked the name under "connection" (mine is called "ArcEMU"), and then dbl clicked "logon" (or whatever you named your logon DB), and then in the main window dbl clicked "accounts" and filled in all that info? It's possible you did this with an sql.....So, did you? or did you at least check & see if there is anything in there? If it's empty, that is why you show 0 accounts loaded & could explain the wrong game version message because I believe it defaults to blizzard if no account info exists.
This shouldn't matter, but load logon 1st then world not the other way around.
As for your realm not showing up....I really don't want to have you post your configs 'cause it takes up ssssssooooooooo much space.....so 1st let's try this. Open the folder that has all your server files & folders, and either give me a screen shot of it, or if that's not possible, give me a list of everything that's in there & list folder names first, then file names. SOMEthing is missing somewhere...I just gotta track it down.
Oh, and since it has the wrong realm, Where exactly is your "realms.conf" file?
This is totally separate & has nothing to do with the problem, It's just an "FYI" thing. When you run World, when it looks like it's done loading, it's not! I don't know why but at the end, it takes like, another 30 seconds before it loads the "loot" tables. So, it isn't done until you see a total of 6 loot names. I believe "loot_pickpocketing" is the last one k?

I've been having issues with login onto my server, I get several errors when opening world and logonserver.exe.
These image links are changed a bit so i could link them.
http : //img27.imageshack . us/i/52073334. jpg/
http : //img513.imageshack . us/i/52524994. jpg/
The error on logon is access denied for root@localhost
The error on world is it just crashes auto
I tried changing all pws in all configs to match, completely reinstalled navicat and mysql to reset all dbs and their pws and such. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here. Could use a little help. Anyone have some ideas for me?
Thanks in advance! <3
Thanks. Turns out that's all that was missing was creating an account, lol. It's always the simple things. You've been a great help.
Quick questions though... I've tried setting the flag to 8, 16, 24 and 55 (All recommended), and in no case can I teleport to shatt. It says I don't have the BC Expansion. But I can teleport to like, Hellfire... It's weird. Also, a bunch of stuff is missing, like bosses from instances, and a lot of activity around the world map. Am I missing database data? Any ideas?

Just as a nub suggestion... You might have to run as administrator if you are running in Vista. Also, this often happens because a step was missed where you have to copy over the config files to the proper folders, or other copying over files between folders. Just nub suggestion, I don't really know, lol.
Everything seems to be working fine, except I get this error..

Uhm, not to sure.
I'm running Windows Server 2008 SP2
Everything seems to be fine, until that part.
I checked the RemoteLogon and they are the same in World and Logon Configs.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in Advance!
From what I can see on THAT screen, you don't have your logon server open. That's why it is failing to connect to it. You should first open Logon.exe, then open World.exe.
But according to your previous post, your Logon server isn't working. And the image says Config.cpp line 282 is the problem.
I'm guessing your logon configuration isn't 100% proper. So post your logon config file contents (Not the note areas, just the used areas). Perhaps something can be caught in there.

O.K., 24 is WotLK & I assume 55 is 3.3.2? Don't know 'cause I have never seen that one.
Which DB are you using? WhyDB? are you using revision 100 Changeset 90?
As for the BC Expansion problem, That's a new one! never seen that before
The only thing I can think of is check the setting in your "optional.conf" in this section:
<Optional StartingLevel="1"
LevelCap="80"
GenLevelCap="80"
AllowTBC="1"
AntiMasterLootNinja="0"
AdditionalFun="0"
DKStartingTalents="0"
Unstuck="0"
UnstuckCooldown="60"
UnstuckToBind="1"
MaxProfessions="2">
Check the setting I highlighted in red.
I did just think of one other possibility....Have you updated the ArcEMU files recently & recompiled your server? Because, and this is actually for anybody reading, Arc JUST changed over to support game version 3.3.X and it is going to be really buggy, ie: missing content, lots of crashing, Scripts not working, etc, etc. You probably didn't though because I don't think you can log in to it with game 3.2.2a......(I swear you get some of the most bizarre errors!)
