I tried making it public without hamachi and first the problem was when I opened arcemu-world it would say there was an issue in realms and just crash, When I fixed that it loads up perfectly and everything but when I go to sign in it just says it is unable to connect. and THEN I got it to load, got to realmlist screen, and it just flashes real quick and goes back to realmlist!

First put ad.exe and the "maps" folder into your wow directory (from the map extractor in the tools folder)

Then run ad.exe

Hey, me and my friend have been working with your guide for quite a while, walking around in circles untill i started reading other guides and found out that someone said something about needing ".NET Framework 3.5". Luckily, fortune shined upon us and that was the problem...I just thought i might mention it for something to add into your guide.

Make sure your started MySQL and if it doesnt work then hit "Stop MySQL" then start it again.

Lol it worked right away when i used the Stop MySQL first ^^ ty very much. great guide btw

If i add somthing into the Arcemu it adds it as normal checked inside and made sure it was there but when i restart or reload the server the item does not exist (In game) iv tried doing .lookup item iv tried using a lower entery number but still nothing any advice?

Okay, I got a site up, got my server running... But when people try to connect it just stays at connecting or says Unable to Connect.

i get the error "connection failed due to: "unknown database "logon" " when i run the arcemu-logonserver
and when i run the arcemu-world i get the same thing except that its "arcemu" instead of logon which failed :S

could it be caused by an error when i run the Mysql?

when i run the Mysql, it says "Mysql is starting with mysql\bin\my.cnf <console>
"the stated path do not exist"
(or something like that, i get it on danish)

what could cause these errors

but seems like a good guide

Navicat says access denied for me no matter what I do, as does MySQL and I'm running them both as administrator on Vista. Wth?
