    [Guide] Setting up MySQL




    How to Setup MySQL
    ==================
    Here are the things you need to start. Ive attached the download to the links
    =============================================================================
    1. MySQL
    2. Navicat 8.0
    3. Brain (Optional)
    ==============
    Now to start download all of those. Brain is optional.
    Now lets start with MySQL run the program and click

    Next->Next->Install->Next->Next->Finish

    A new window will open click

    Next->Standard Configuration->Next->Next

    For password type

    "ascent"

    and confirm

    "ascent"

    then

    Next->Exacute->

    IF AN ERROR COMES UP JUST HIT SKIP THEN CANCEL ITS OK MYSQL IS STILL INSTALLED

    Now for the easy parts. Go to Start->Run type

    C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.0\data\

    that will open your data folder. Now paste you DB in there and close everything. You

    have the option of installing Navicat 8.0 if you want to. Your choice.

    This is an installation guide.. not a set up.I'll give u a D+ for your effort.

    jiggu.. Most sql like Navicat or SQLyog, you just right click on the root@localhost (located on left side menu) and click create new database.

    Usually the 2 databases you're gonna need are world and logon. (you can choose different names but that's what i use)

    if you are using mysql command line type

    CREATE database world;

    That creates the world database ^^ Then you do the same thing for logon

    If you need anything else, just ask.
