check your logon and world config and make sure that you have the same passwords.

Oh my diddies, Hey Heph I'd firstly like to congratulate you on the EASIEST guide i've found so far.

I've been trying to create a private server for nearly 6 days now and unfortunetly even as simple as this guide is - muggins over here is having problems.

I've added you to msn but you're offline :-( I can't post my email because this is my first post so I can talk to you on there but I'll post my problem on here aswell just incase anyone else has the same problem as me.

I've set everything up and it's all looking sweet but when I run the world and logon.exe I get the following errors:

Firstly From arcemu-world.exe:

LogonCommClient: Authenticating ...
LogonCommClient: Authentication timed out.

This error repeats it self over and over.
While that error is occuring, I am also receiving this error from the arcemu-logon.exe:

Server Connectiong from 192.XXX.X.X:4317 DENIED, not an allowed IP.
it then says:
Authentication request from 192.XXX.X.X,result OK - with this error it also repeats itself and keeps changing the port

I'm gunna take a wild guess and say that I've put the wrong IP in the configs, but I'm certain I have followed the guide to the bone. Also I wasnt certain about the RemotePassword, I just made that the same as my PW to mysql and the SQLyog is that okay?

I apologise for the lengthy post, I would post my configs aswell but I don't know how to lol, also this is my first post on mmowned!! + rep for your guide, If you could help me with this problem it would be awesome.

Well i would say that your IP has been put in wrong in your config files what i would do is, go to your config files open them up and where you have the Ip address now change them to 127.0.0.1 or localhost, and ye the remote is fine

Okay, thanks for your speedy response Bunster! It All works!!! I did as you said - changed any Ip's I had changed back to 127.0.0.1 in all of my configs *just repeating incase anyone has the same problem as me* and it works!! okay now all I need to do is the impossible and make it go public without hamachi!! I log on the server and when i try to make a character it comes up with this...

You loaded it to fast though.
Btw, its probably a Major bug, so you might have to Change Core/Rev and Database.

I tried what you said but i keep getting the same error, I dunno if im doing some think wrong some where.

When i Start my server i connected to db but when i start logon server it gives me error saying can not connect to unknown database "arcemu-logonserver i am using arcemu revision 1999 updated

I am getting this error spammed on my World box.

Still receiving the same errors a full day later of trying to fix it. I know nothing of how to fix it after re-installing everything.
