[Guide] Make your own WOTLK 3.0.3 server using ArcEmu!!! (easy)

I used this guide and got the server working yesterday but today i start logonserver and world and it says
Connection failed due to 'Can't connect to MySQL Server on 'localhost' <10061>
and when i start world it says that and
Main database initialization failed. Exiting.

but the guide didnt say anything about MySQL, and i dont have it.
and the server WAS working, logonserver and world worked fine and i could log in

Ok guys read the common asked questions it will tell you what you need to know and ill set up away to get it onto MySQL for you!

It all goes well up to opening arcemu world and logon , i looked through the faq but nothing, (i have no mysql server in taskmanager) the error is....

Connection failed due to: Access denied for user root@localhost <using password yes>

Forgot to mention im on vista, admin account and using the 'run as admin' thing.

Go to your Database program (Navicat, HeidiSQL, ect.)

Make a new DB just like you made ''world''. Execute the characters.sql and/or logon.sql into the new ''characters'' DB.

Simple: .go spawn ID - Then put a ''1'' after the ID like this:

.go spawn ID 1 - A piece of cake

And Andy @ Check your configs files. Logonserver and world. And chance the password to what you made it in the MySQL Setup Wizzard

DJ im not sure wether i did it right but it didnt work. My folders now look like this.

# Database.Host - The hostname that the database is located on
# Database.Username - <my username>
# Database.Password - <my pass>
# Database.Name - The database name
# Database.Port - Port that MySQL listens on. Usually 3306.
# Database.Type - Client to use. 1 = MySQL, 2 = PostgreSQL, 3 = SQLite (MySQL is stable, others are not)

Still got the same problem but it might be my fault, not so experienced with this yet. Should I take a characters.sql file from other repack? Because when I press Execute batch file and search the folders of this repack. There is no files showing. Tried taking other repacks sql files and mix but with little succes. It didn't even notice them.

DJ, u were right, I just changed the wrong stuff... but now i got the same problem as kendo, and he's right, in the character database theres no .sql file...

It's all ready done for you theres no SQL executing required follow the comman asked questions they should resolve that problem.

I dont follow... im admin, no other mysql on task manager, still i get, unknown database 'characters' ?

Go over your Configs and check if your passwords for mysql and the repack all match

for this, if i'm making items off of WoW Vendetta - Wage Your War, should I download the SQL batch file for Ascent (Rev1-Now) or Ascent (Antrix-Rev1)? because I know this isn't MaNGOS
