    [Guide] Detailed: How to Setup A Server with Keazain' Releases!

    Hephaestus' Detailed Guide of How to make a WoW Private Server and How to Make it Public Easily!
    ** Hephaestus' Presents the Epic Detailed Guide for MMOwned Emulation! **



    -> Requirements:

    You need: .NET Framework 3.5:
    Download details: .NET Framework 3.5


    We will now Startup the Guide:
    We will begin with How to Setup MySQL 5.0:

    1. You can Download MySQL 5.0 Here: Download it right Here!

    2. Here is a Full Picture of How to Set it up Easily:

    --> Animation Picture is made by: Hephaestus
    * The Animation Picture may be fast, so look at it a couple of times, to understand the Setup. *

    3. Now you are finish, by installing MySQL 5.0 for your Server.

    -> Choosing the Core and Database:

    1. Download the Latest Compile Cores and Databases Here: http://www.mmowned.com/forums/emulat...ready-use.html

    2. Save the Core and Database on your Desktop and Extract the Core to the Desktop.
    3. Remember to Extract the MAPS, VMAPS for your server!

    -> How to Extract the Maps and the VMaps:

    ~ Extracting the Maps:

    1. Go to the Folder of your Server Core and look for the Folder Called: "X3 Tools"
    2. Then there is a Folder Called: "Map Extractor".
    3. The file called "ad.exe" has to be put in your World of Warcraft Folder.
    4. Before Extracting with "ad.exe" you have to make a Folder called: "Maps" in your World of Warcraft Folder.
    5. When the Extraction of the Maps is done, put the "Maps" Folder to your Core Folder.
    6. Then your "Maps" is extracted/Made successfully.. Good Job!

    ~ Extracting the VMaps:

    1. Go to the Folder of your Server Core and look for the Folder Called: "X3 Tools"
    2. Then there is a Folder called: "Vmap Extractor".
    3. The file called "vmapextract_v3" has to be put in your World of Warcraft Folder.
    4. Before Extracting with "vmapextract_v3" you have to make a Folder called: "vmaps" in your World of Warcraft Folder.
    5. When the Extraction of the Vmaps is done, put the "Vmaps" Folder to your Core Folder.
    6. Then your "Vmaps" is extracted/Made successfully.. Good Job!

    <------------------------------------------------->
    -> Getting the Database Tool called Webyog SQLyog:

    1. Go to the Website: Download - SQLyog MySQL Frontend, MONyog MySQL Monitoring Tool
    2. Download a Trial of the SQLyog Database Tool for MySQL and Install it.
    3. Then you have the Database Tool for MySQL as Trial!

    -> Setting up the Databases on: Webyog SQLyog:

    1. Launch the Database Tool: SQLyog.
    ~ (There is a Shortcut of it, on your Desktop)
    2. Then you will get a Pop-up of when the SQLyog Trial expires, just close the Window.
    3. On the top you can see a button called: "New", then Write "Ascent" as the "Connection Name".
    4. Leave the "MySQL Host Address", "Username" ALONE!
    5. The Password of it is the Password as you Made in the MySQL Setup Progress.
    6. Click on "OK" and then on the top Right Click on the "Computer Icon" and Click on: "Create a New Database" and Call the 1st Database:
    World and then make a 2nd Database Called: Logon
    7. Now you made your Server Databases.. Good Job!

    -> Executing the "World.sql" to the World Database:

    1. Go to your Desktop and Extract the WinRAR File: "World".
    2. Once its extracted, go to "SQLyog" and go to the Database as you made called: "World".
    3. Then Right Click on the "World" Name and Click on "Execute from SQL Dumb" and then Select the "World.sql" on your Desktop as you've extracted.
    4. When the SQL File is executed Successfully, Close down "SQLyog".
    5. Then your World Database is Executed!

    -> Executing the "Logon.sql" to the Logon Database:

    1. You can get the Latest Account/Logon SQL Here:

    2. Once Downloaded, Extract the File with WinRAR to your Desktop!
    3. Then go to "SQLyog" and type this at the "Database Name": Logon
    4. Then Right Click on the "Logon" Name and Click on "Execute from SQL Dumb" and then Select the "Logon.sql" on your Desktop as you've extracted right before.
    4. When the SQL File is executed Successfully, Close down "SQLyog".
    5. Then your Account/Logon Database is Executed!

    -> Making Accounts for your Server:

    1. Launch "SQLyog" and type this at the Database Name: Logon.
    2. Then at the "Logon" name, you can right click and "Refresh" the Account Database.
    3. Then Find the "Table" called "Accounts" and then Click on "Table Data"
    4. Then you can see the Accounts thats allready been Created.
    5. You can Edit the Account Names and Passwords.
    6. When you want to make a New Account just click on "(NULL)" and Enter the Decided Account Name, Password, GM, Flags

    Account Name: The Name of the Account.
    Password: The Password of the Account.
    GM: The Rank of the Account: 3 as GM, AZ as Admin and 0 as Normal.
    Flags: Burning Crusade Enabled: 8
    Wrath of the Lich King Enabled: 24


    7. Then click on "Save" and the Created Accounts is ready for use!

    -> Starting up the Server:

    1. Go to the Core Folder, and Click on: "World.exe" and "Logonserver.exe"
    2. Sometimes the Realms are going to "Realm Loop" but then you just can Restart the "World.exe" and "Logonserver.exe".

    No, there is allmost no Bugs on Keazain' Releases.
    There is missing a couple of spawns/creatures, but thats it.

    Yes it works.
    This Guide is 99.9% User Easy.

    The last 0.1% is the Setup of SQLyog and the Setup of Databases.

    how can i setup the db when i try it says Nothing To Connect to Could someone please help me

    When i try and run Logon and World it comes up in the box "Unknown MySql server host "host" <11001>"

    And when i run the world it says some think like "im a noob who never read through the config file some think like that"

    What shall i do? i followed the guide like you said.
