when i try to download the first link for the exe it says that it can't find divxdecoder and it says that reinstalling the application might help...please help me? my friend has a private server up that i'm wanting to join but it's ont 2.4.3 so could someone pleaase help myah? ?

What should i do when i get f***ing error #131 everytime i want to start wow. I've seen so many ppl askin for help, no1 can help us?

Hopefully, this works pretty well.

I haven't even done it all yet, but can you copy the entire folder when you are done, and upgrade one of them to 3.0.9? (Or, the current patch?)

I would like to do that, so I could have two WoW folders; A current folder, and a 2.4.3.

EDIT: You have to be kidding me. I did everything, and I have the Wow.exe (version 2.4.3, that's good.)

You supplied an incorrect download; the download WORKS, but the US version of the repair file is v3.0.0.

Seriously, now I am boned unless my Google skills hit maximum and find a 2.0.0 repair file. :-/

You can't downgrade from one expansion to another without re-installing. Don't post guides unless you have done it yourself first. This is a theory. A wrong theory.

There are a bunch of people saying thanks and rep, but no one has said it works.

And by the way re-installing only takes about 2 hours. Patching takes quite a bit, the patch "2.4.0" is nearly a gig. But you can be efficient and download the patches (2.4.1 etc too) while re-installing.

I was repairing the thing and its still patch 3.0.2. Help please.... I want to play a 2.4.3 server and it has a 3.0.9 realms so when ever i try to log on it says i need to update... help pleaseeee

Sorry for the re post.. You gave us the wrong repair download... Man test it before you hand it out this is the 3.0.1 repair ffs. thx for wasting my time

Hate to sound like a total noob, but it appears I am experiencing the same issues as a number of the other US members. My Repair.exe reads as the 3.0.0 and updates my WoW.exe to 3.0.1.8874

Edit: After some searches, I located a Repair.exe lower than 3.0.0

The repair he gave only works for WoW 3.0.2
This repair (from SufferingPlanet) works for the other versions.

I tried it and did everything but when i run the repair.exe it makes me patch up not down

It seems like this not work with wotlk. jsut isntall an extra wow on your computer and do this without wotlk. hope it helps.
