[GUIDE] Downgrade from 3.x.x to 2.4.3

Hey, I downloaded everything, deleted patch.mpq, and put the new Wow.exe and repair file in.

However, when I run repair, it says "needs to revert back to earlier version" etc, and repairs it with 3.0 instead of 2.4.3, even though I open it with the repair 2.4.3 you gave me.

if i deleted all wow then just installed wow n tbc, would i stay at 2.4.3? or would i automatically have to update to 3.0.3 wen i start wow?

If you deleted your entire wow and installed it again with tbc, yes it would make u update all the way until 3.0.3. If you wanted to get to 2.4.3, you would have to manually download the patches and do it.

Thanks dude, my 3.X.X server was utter FAIL and I needed back to safe, stable, 2.4.3

Actually, no. You wouldn't have to manually install the patches. You would download and install BC untill you saw the blizzard downloader for 2.4.3 - 3.0.2 patch. Then you click Cancel, then you go to your realmlist.wtf then you delete,

set patchlist us.worldofwarcraft.com

then you shouldn't have to update anymore.

Doesn't seem to work. I just get patch 3.0.1... It seems that the repair is connected with the internet. Turning it off means you can't repair >.>
