    Is it quicker to compile your own server or download repack? please send me msg i probaly wont check this guide again :P

    does it take 9 hours to download the hole thing or is it a wrong thing?? do i go to the bottom and download or go each one

    Ok dude its a link you put in your repository and depending on your comp speed it should take less than 20min, its not a download.

    Well thanks for the guide, everything worked out for me except the .exe files. No errors were shown while compiling them, i open arcemu-logonserver.exe start and its ok, but arcemu-world.exe just flashes on the screen, it open and closes right away in less than a second. I cant understand whats wrong. Any idea?

    Do you have your configuration files in your core folder?

    EDIT: Also.. Did you delete/look for the die directives

    Ok REALLY REALLY REALLY easy solution, it happened to me as well, i was confused by the readme, you might not have but still.... ok so at the very start when it says to copy vc/include to vc/include and vc/lib to vc/lib it means to copy the folder from the arcemu place to the microsoft c++ place not the other way around ( this is what happened to me so hopefully if yall did that too, then this will help you out).

    Ok if you servers just dis appear, you either dont have:

    The database, the configs right, the config files you didnt put in there, for logong you have to have the database or itll disappear right when you start it, same as world... make sure you database is there, and make sure configs are right and are there

    Does any1 know where i can get a clean , never been touched, database / sql's and things for this server? oh and i already have navicat and everything i know how to put it in, i just need the tables. plz any1? oh and +rep very nice guide.

    yeah sounddead and ppqq, i know about the die directives and to have the configs folder with its .conf files inside the compiled arcemu folder and properly configured and the stuff about to copy the arcemu source vc/include and vc/lib files to the visual c++ 2008 vc/include and vc/lib folders and then compile the libraries and put the pcre and zlib libraries inside the visual c++ vc/lib folder and then take the 2 .dll files inside the dll files folder and put inside the windows/system32 folder. Then build the solutions:
    colisionvc9.sln to get the colision.dll and colision.lib, put them inside the visual c++ vc/lib folder then build arcemuvc90.sln, then scripts2008.sln, then put the configs folder in trunk/src inside the trunk/bin/release folder wich is the compiled arcemu folder, all the building part made on release win32, no errors at all on all the process. That´s whats giving me a headache, if the configs folder with its files are inside the compiled arcemu folder, if no errors were shown while compiling, why it just cant work? i´ve seen some people with the same problem, but with arcemu-logonserver.exe, it just flashes on the screen the same way; open and closes right away in less than a second, my problem is with arcemu-world.exe, it does this, most people have this problem with arcemu-logonserver.exe. No solution was shown until now in all forums , ac web, wowps, ragezone, and many others. People ask for those with this problem in all the forums that i´ve been looking around if the configs folder is inside the compiled arcemu folder and the same questions you made for me. I wonder if this guide really work for you guys. It really work? You guys do exactly as is being described on this guide? I cant understand why this problem is the most hard to solve and why my problem must be this one.



    FINALLY!!! AFTER 5 DAYS SUFFERING TO SOLVE THIS I FINALLY SOLVED! LOL! AH RAPTUROUS HAPPINESS!! LOL!

    the whole problem its because didnt putted the colision.dll file (after i´ve built collision_vc9.sln) inside windows/sytem32 folder. The problem with arcemu-logonserver.exe should be something like this, for all you who are having this problem, maybe you´ve forgotten to put any .dll file inside windows/system32 folder if you didnt forgot to put the configs folder inside your compiled arcemu folder. Sounddead ill rep you as soon as i can, ppqq and lilbdiablo12 ive rep you already. I really hate computer problems!

    How i´ve found the solution: I´ve right-clicked arcemu-world.exe and choosed "execute as...." and then choosed current user, ok, and then if something is wrong the program say what it is. Do the same for arcemu-logonserver.exe.

    Yes since the newest updates to the core i have been slightly confused too, you don't need to put collision.dll in the Windows/system you just compile it and copy paste the .lib in your new folder to get your world.exe working properly.

    I will edit this guide so it meets the criteria as a compiling server guide as the core has been updated.

    Ah, btw:U forgot adding the libs(including collision) in C++??\library folder before compiling arcemuVC90 solution. Otherwise it won't compile at all (Fatal error). I think there was something else wrong in there, can't remember..i got confused in the directory structure since the readme's were pointing to "not existing" folders.
