Fixed it...just change the MySQL password to mangos and in the documents replace mangos for root

Well now i cant get out of the starting area. I talk to the lich King and he tells me to go to the portals...if i go to the portals it says that i need to have ttbc installed plz help

I hava some final questions:
1-How can i go to northrend and to outlands because it is always saying that i need to have tbc installed
2-How do i morph because when i use .morph it says the command does not exist

Answer 1: You need to go into Navicat or heidiSQL then go to the database where u can see Accounts then you find your Account then where it says TBC write 8

Answer 2: write .mod morph "ID" ^^ and to demorph write .demorph

1.Open mangosd.conf file (with Notepad / Wordpad) and edit (in my case) "ascent" written with red , with your MySQL password.

Code:

CharacterDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;ascent;characters"

2.Do the same thing with the Realmd.conf

when i go into my mangos file i do it from my "new folder 2" and then database then i go into mangos, but i've looked evrywhere cant find any of it ... and cant find it in the realmd either? need help what can be wrong. i did evry thing he said right but i accidently deleted the "mysql"database is it that or what?

Ok i used fixed DBCs and downgraded..it works, i'm at 8634..i red about it. I can enter but now i can't use portals and have no weapons at start..plus, is the runic power bugged?

I downloaded the Beta, but it cant patch it up to 8632 build, any1 else have the same problem? also the repair dont work too. i tried to reinstall the game but it still not works. any1 know how to solve this problem? thanks

The reason you have no weapons at start is that your weapon after a few quests..to use the portals in the DK Starting area you have to go to Navicat and in all the dabatases look for one named account then find the table named TBC and there write 8

And i will tell this again..to solve the root problem you have to change you mySQL password from root to mangos and then you have to replace root for mangos into the codes you have to write in the realmd and mangosd documents

After these things you will be able to play WotLK.Enjoy
