ok i followed your guide exactly, but when i type in setbc administrator 1 in the mongosd.exe i get an error saying "unknown command: setbc". Any clue, what I'm doing wrong here?

The server is running, but I cant access BC or Wotlk

i've noticed that version 8885 have got some problems, and that is sadly also my issue.

i've enabled the "setexpansion administrator 2" that was meant to be the wotlk expansion.
well, i've got th problem that it says

"Creation of that race requires an account that has been upgraded to the appropriate expansion"

i've checked my Tables in Navi but dunno what i need t chance for it to work :P

Everything besides that works just fine.

You need to lvl a guy to 55, but DK crashes though...

Ok, i've read about your problems creating a DK, and decided it was time for my lazy ass to actually post something for a change instead of reading all the time...

If you all have the same problem that after the DK is created in the Character creation screen (for you who got that far :mwink, the game seems to crash when you try logging in, correct?

That's not actually a problem with the DK, it seems to be more of a graphicsbugg or something...
The SOLUTION to this is to access you database, with Navicat, SQLyog or whatever you used and find your character there... located in the "character -> characters" database. You should find all your created chars there...
Now, the thing you should do is change the LOCATION of your DK, like for example copying an identical location from another char...

The fields you should change are "position_y", "position_x", "position_z" and "map".

And that sould do the trick...


PS. If this really reeaallly seems hard to accomplish i can post a screen or something, but hopefully this will work for you all. Gia Sas :wave:

btw... to create a DK, except for upgrading the account to wtlk you need a level 55 char first OR enter the mangosdconf file and set the "DeathknightCreationCheck = 1" value to 0.

i have a big problem with the mangos.sql, and it is, i only can get 5 mb, out of the 120 mb or how much it is... It´s just stop when i have 5 mb and the computer freeze...

can i get some help about that?
