ok, i searched entire forum, read all posts in this tread, did all of the things you said,
but im still stuck at handshaking..
i'm not a noob, i did this before.. had many private servers online..
i know i have all ports forwarded, i have my firewall configured, my hosts file is correct.. and im almost certain of my config files, because i did all that you said that could be wrong with my config file, i even checked dyndns for anything wrong, i just cant figure out whats the problem.. my account i try to login to is directly copyed from navicat, re-typed everything..
i rly dont get it is it cuz i have enGB and 2.4.1?
i rly dont know what the problem is, it used to work...

This has only been tested and verified with 2.3.x to work. I personally do not run 2.4.x so I am not familiar if the ascent config files have changed.

Although, Handshaking...

Handshaking means you have successfully connected to the server (on a port) but somewhere along the way, the new information that is being sent (login info) is not being received from the server. This possibly means that indeed one of your ports is not configured correctly; OR your config file is pointing to a port that isn't forwarded.

Post your configs, and I'll take a look at them.

My ascent-logon works, but when i run ascent-world, it says

 Connecting to logonserver on [my dyndns ip]:8093...

Connection failed. Will try again in 10 seconds

i have hamachi and did this and i checked it like 10x
and still players when they are trying to loggin they just come to realmlist and click on the realm it just says : logning in to server / or some thing like that.

i did delete hamachi should it work for other players then?
or can i still have hamachi just need to do something else
