[Guide] How to be like a Blizz GameMaster !

Hello . This Guide learns you to act / be like one of Blizzard Gamematers.

Request :

1. Social Skills
2. Good English ( I'm not the best :P)

It will comes in steps.

1. Don't make a name like : Ibangyou. Make something like : Trueas ( I'm not good finding names :P)
2. Just when logged in. Don't .mod level 70
3. .gmon, .invisible , .recall port gmisland
4. The items you only should wear :

.additem 192 .additem 11508 .additem 12064 .additem 2586

5. Get the addon : mymaster for reading tickets

When you readed a ticket write something like : Greetings, (CHARNAME). This is Gamemaster (Your Name). Do you have a moment to talk about your issue?



Now your a kind of Blizz gamemaster !

Criticism:

First off, you spelled [guild], not [guide] on the topic.
Your right, your english is a little bit bad. You need good english to write a guide such as this one.
But, Goodjob with the item ID's as well as the name and step number 3.

Something better to write instead of:

Greetings (charname). Im Gamemaster (your name) . Im here today for handling your ticket. Do you have a moment for talk about it ?

Is:

Greetings, (CHARNAME). This is Gamemaster (Your Name). Do you have a moment to talk about your issue?

I'd rather deal with a more personable character whom I can relate to on a private server than have to deal with somebody who tries to act like a Blizz GM.

My simple advice; be your self. I am an admin of a server and I would rather a player contact my self or my GM team thru whispers than start scribbling tickets. Fast, person to person contact makes a player feel 100x more important, PLUS you get to earn a certain respect among the players as an actual helpful GM who can actually help your issues when you are online.

I tell my team to not be like blizz, because it takes away from the Private aspect. Lets not get all corporate and act all high and mighty.

On any server, GM's earn respect, they aren't born with it. Be nice, but also human.

Yep man you are right the players send much tickets read all that questions make me have headsick

I think be like a Blizz gm is not so nice couse you will not have much contact with players, and every one like to see the gm walking and helping

This is something I put together for you guys, sorry for being a leecher the latest posts on mmowned have been lacking quality.

After dealing with quite a few wow GMs... this should come in handy for evryone trying to run their own realm.
