Having login issues.

When I try to log in with username:arctium@arctium and password:arctium it starts going through login process however after a second or less I get a message "You have been disconnected from server" .Tried many times to log in ,always this same issue.

If anyone knows solution to this issue ,share it please ,I would appreciate it a lot .

TO ALL WINDOWS 10 USERS UNABLE TO CHANGE READ ONLY ON DATA FOLDER:

Go here --> https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2623670 <-- and read that, I have upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 7 and that process changed ownership of all folders to Trusted Installer, that guide should help you to change the ownership of folders to the Username you use to login to Windows or just your PC name. If you can't do it then ask someone who understands it to write a step by step guide, I might be able to do it once I got time.

So for those of you running windows 10, that have not been able to get it to work, please move the entire folder to root of c or another drive, do not have it in c:\program files (x86)\ even to patch it.

Once it is moved and you follow the original instructions from King it will work, The security settings around the program files folders make it almost impossible to correctly patch and run it. After running several tools I saw what was causing the issue, once it was moved however it is working just fine.

Or do the thing I wrote above this quote, plenty of games or programs have issues due to this problem, the thing I linked solves most of it. Slowly starting to get rid of the issues Windows 10 Upgrade gave me. Weirdest is that this issue has been present since Windows 7 Upgrading, the Upgrading seems to change things it shouldn't.

as far as I can tell everything has downloaded, nothing is currently downloading at all.

Did you interrupt the download process? If you did, you have to restart it using the command line, it won't continue on its own.

Hey, I have that same error message and used the install line in command prompt (Within the B-net folder right?), and it still gives me that same error message. How do I fix this problem?

Torrent might be the problem, I used the way listed in that thread and no issues here. Just be sure to not touch battle.net client or the folders it installs to during the process.

I got the game up and running, logged in, made the character and everything but when I tried to enter the game it got stuck at the last little quarter. I deleted the data folder and now I get the assertion failure message...
