Has someone a running version of this sandbox under windows 8? The Patcher does not work on Windows 8, had to install a sandbox of Windows 7 to patch the file since I always got an exception when "patching module" started. But now that I have the patched exe and manually edited my host file, I always get this:

The sandbox works 100% fine for me on Windows 8.

Run the game, and those files/folders will populate.

Thank you for your reply. I ran the sandbox again only to get the cmd saying it's running and it is still not starting(I ran it about 13 minutes ago) and no files are showing up.
EDIT: I got the files, but still having the problem with it not starting although the cmd says it is running. I've searched the thread up and down but can't find a definite answer/solution.
EDIT2: Not sure if this is what I'm supposed to do, but running the patched exe(I think that's what I'm supposed to do) gives me a "Fatal Error" msg.

It's trying to load with directx11, but your video card doesn't support dx11. You'll have to change the renderer in the config.wtf file to d3d9, I think.

Working fine on windows 8 here, are you sure you're running as admin?

Yes, I started everything as an admin and the ConnectionPatcher worked well without any errors =(

When i start up wow_patched it loads the MoP loading screen, i log in using the details in the original post, get to the server screen with the realm name Arctium - PVP - High
i just get connected or logging in to game server, tried restarting multiple times to no avail i can't seem to get on.

The Arctium WoD Sandbox.exe come up saying

Error: Moduel '36' not used in this state
Hey please use wowB_patched.exe as a file name
Error: Oh no we can't calculate the session key
Error: Offset the length were out of bounds for the array or count is greater than the number of elements from index to the end of the source collection.


I'm using Win7 64 bit

Hey. I had the same problem for several days until i managed to fix it. So i will tell you what mistakes i did maybe you will find your answer in what i did.
First of all be sure you installed the Wod beta and you didnt patched the mop client(i did that and it didint work)))
Second , after i installed wod beta there where 4 more .exe there, but i deleted them , and i had the same problem as you, so...i restored them and opened wowB_patched.exe, and it worked, also the loading screen changed(first it was to a red dark portal and after that the vanilla one).
Idk if this will help you, but bassically restore those .exe's if you deleted them. Aso ALWAYS use wowB_patched.exe (or wow_patched.exe idk how you have it)That's the way i fixed it..

Yup, That's usually it, If you have the MOP loading screen, you have patched the wrong client. I'm still not certain what these other clients are for yet
