It is a shame people cant appreciate what they are given. Obviously the person who had claimed this report is childish and does not have much wit. UltraCore has released source publicly that was deemed release worthy. In no way are they Obligated to Always and instantly provide work that has been done. When a source release is decided It happens on sourceforge or to a specified place. The idea that there would be an obligation to provide access to a repo that cost the Devs money for bandwidth is rediculous.

The fact that some data comes from "trinity sources" then is implemented into UltraCore. Most of the time that data needing to be altered to properly do so. Us then not instantly providing a copy of the result after this process IS NOT a violation of GPL. In conclusion UltraCore is not obligated to release any of its work to anyone because of this.

Unless anyone wants to prove my statements wrong??

If a private project is funded by its developers and provided data taken from other sources is altered then used. Means the project belongs to those who did the private work. I for one thank Pryd and Lorac for their work and contributions as I'm sure many others do as well. The fact that they would release the work publicly at all is awesome.

I am certain things will resolve soon and UltraCore will live on. In any case its good to see Pryd respond and amend so quickly. This could be a good turn for the project who knows.
I know I will continue to use and support the project as I know many many other will do the same.

No.......Pryd is 64 bit and atm can only compile 64 bit
As for my self Im a little busy and when i can take a hour out of my IRL i will compile a 32 bit and upload it

PDS-4TC 10280 was released yesterday. After much testing on my end it does appear stable.
The work of trinity core and trinity database is unparrallel imo.

I should have 32 bit cores ready later tonight.

When i take a screen fast , i can see that :


EDIT: I tryed it with 5.1.50 mysql full not essentials and it still didnt worked same error

Trinity is not patched by the Ultra Core Team!

Same error here, the pool_quests table doesn't exist on the world database.
What did we do wrong ?

From what i see in your screenshot, since i havent tried the new repack yet, it might be a problem with your MySQL server version, since its outdated... try installing the latest version.

Indeed the mysql server software might be outdated. But that has nothing to do with a missing table. I'm having the same problem aswell.

Edit: I figured the sql updates are not yet applied to the database. Didn't test it yet but this will probebly solve the prob.

I've re-imported / installed the repack on my secondary server ( 32 bit ) and all installed properly. In fact I recreated the 32 bit version from that install

You must make sure to use SQLyog and the other thing is to make sure your mysql server can handle the query. Most times, a table lost isn't the SQLs fault, it's the mysql server which is losing connection during a massive update.

Though normally with sql updates, data loss can occur when doing a database update using php / website.. not when using SQLyog.

As far as patches go, I will be looking into TC's site as usual to see what can be upgraded. If I find that I can easily patch in extras / upgrades / enhancements that's exactly what I'll do.

Keep me posted on installs. If more of you have issues I'll dump the full worlds w/ navi..

If you have problems with the core instantly closing and you are sure your configs are good.

First thing you want to do if you have windows 7 / vista / 2008 is run as Administrator.

If the core closes down still you have corrupt data or have not applied vital sqls the core needs. a clean world and character install for example would fix this. Or you could manually update.

With a remote connection data loss is more likely to occur for example installing a 200mb database from one server to another can have Loss depending on the connection qualities. Also depending on outside connections the data is routed through there can be connection loss, lag.

I would suggest to always update and install on the local host machine.
