Yea Dont complain at Lorac, I dont use repacks but I can confirm that I had a problem with scripts on my compiled server, seems to be something a bit weird with them in the latest revs.

Ok Guys and Gals its that time again

Prydevserver - UltraCore v10

Officially has been released

Whats changed?

1. Core now sports a safety check on deleted chars (check your configs)
2. Several new systems added to core
3. Several Crash fixes in core
4. Apache has been fixed and now has a working account creation page  (localhost)

The bad now
1. WARNING Characters DB is not compatible with the older packs (please make a backup and hang tight till we get the sqls available for you)

2. x64 bins are not included yet as I dont have the ability to make x64 at current time
We will be issuing an update pack once they are available

Now for the Directions


Step one

Download Core installer

Step two

Download VmapSupport
This IS A MUST!

Step Three

( if have server allready)

Dump to sql
Realmd
and
Active character db your using
The whole thing on both!!!!!!

Step four

Install file from step one

Step five

Install step two

Step six

(If you are currently using v

Batch your character and realmd into respected dbs {DONT DO THIS FOR v10 YET!!}

Step Seven

(After you batch your 2 dbs)

Go into Realmd and realmlist Change the build to 12340
( you miss this step you will not have a realm! )

Before ANYONE REPEATS THE QUESTION

How do i make my server live

Go into your realmd and realmlist
Where you see ip address put your ip address
Then eather go to dyndns.com make an account (RECOMMENDED)
or give your ip to connect (NOT RECOMMENDED)

v9 or 9.5 is no longer supported in any way shape or form

Ok. I am soooo noob here. I appologize in advance for the questions. The final result is this. I can tell that you guys have done a wonderful job on this repack. I have watched all your videos and everything looks great. The problem im having is that my install is fresh. I installed v10...I installed Vmapsupport. I have no clue where to go from there. Do i still need navicat like on your previous videos? I am absolutely clueless. Also, when creating an account, you keep referring to localhost. Although i know what localhost is, i cant seem to do anything with any file when concerning localhost. I guess my end result question would be, is there somewhere that i have not seen yet which explains exactly what to do after installing v10 and vmapsupport? You know, for all of us stupid people that still want our own servers...lol Thanks so much in advance for any help i can get!!!!

Just wanted to show my appreciation. I've been using these packs for a few months now and there is nothing out there as good in my opinion. There is thousands of guides that helps you "how to setup a server". Cant be that hard to google it..

Youre right of course. But isnt it all different based on each repack? That is something that is not stated. If it is different per repack and i already stated that i cant find anything else besides what is here, then why is it so hard to help out. Then i could help out for the next noob that asks questions. I apologize for thinking that this is how it is supposed to work in here.

I agree that AIO should be removed and manual install isnt really that much harder (dont get me wrong Mav)...I do remember my first 1.1.0 and then 1.12.1 servers when i was still learning...it took me a week,then next time 3 days, to get everything right . But in the end,it pays off more than easy install packages as you will learn more about MySQL and setting up servers...
About your question,Mav: You can still probably use the guide on the first page,at least some steps from it...just follow it through and check what you already finished...

If you wanna report a bug than you should provide the quest ID or at least the item thats bugging.

they are constantly working on new cores and DB's you just have to be patient.

-Mav when you've installed AIO and vmapsupport into the C:\Ultracore, then set your realmsettings in realmd/authserver: Realmlist.
set your realmlist to whatever your using. and it should be running

Thanks for the info guys. I have set the settings in realmd and realmlist like i want but i still think im missing something. I appreciate it anyway. I think what im missing is the whole navicat/MySql thing. If i try to start up something in navicat, it doesnt matter what username or password i set cause it says that they are not correct. That leads me to believe that i must setup a MySql database first with the username and password i wish for logging in as admin or whatever is required. The problem with that is i downloaded MySql and it is all just a bunch of folders. No instal....no setup...no anything. So i must be missing something. Im sure it is something small and i will probably call myself a retard for not realizing it but as of right now i have no choice but to ask to be pointed in the right direction. I am nowhere near computer illiterate, just a bit of a programming dummy when it comes to MySql/c++/ stuff like that. Thanks again for any help.
