    anticheat2 config options in trinitycore.conf

    In the new trinitycore.conf in repacks 9+ you should find at the bottom a place where the anticheat / bot settings are.
    If by chance it's not there l'll post it up here.

    i got stuck @ Step 6 - I'm confused about the whole navicat this. Did i miss something?

    Nope, you dont have added the parameters of AC2 at the conf.

    And i think if you need to deactivate the antihack to use al of the transports... then WHy the hell you added the Ac2? i think its useless.

    I agree archknup the parameters of ac2 not exist in repack 10 :S , and the transport doesnt work :S , I turn off my addons , and transports work ,exept the transports :

    orgrimmar - undercity
    orgrimmar - nortrem
    undercity - northrm

    and same case for the alliance transports.

    and again great work pryd you are the best man.

    I tried this build because the one I was using was too glitchy to be fun. My purpose is so my daughter and I can play on my LAN server and not have to worry about weirdos. But my server was not handling quests very well. It would say that the quests were already complete all the time. Clothes would be invisible sometimes. It wasn't fun.

    I downloaded the file called PDS_rev10a.rar. I set up two virtual servers because I didn't want to mess up my current system. The reason I set up two was because I was deciding which OS to use as well (one was Windows 2003 Standard 32-bit, the other was Windows 2008 Standard 64-bit).

    It works now on both servers, but I did have a little trouble. The trouble can be avoided, and I'd like to suggest the following information be amended to the first post:

    -Visual C++ 2008 SP1 is required
    -Do not create a "data" folder under C:\Trinity.
    -Change db name of "world" to "trinity" in TrinityCore.conf
    -In Step4, fix: "You will get VMAPS folder which needs to be copied back into C:\Trinity\data." Say this instead: "You will get a VMAPS folder, which needs to be copied back into C:\Trinity.
    -In Step6, fix: "C:\Mangos\YTDB_508" to correctly say "C:\Trinity\YTDB_508."

    Those first four points I had to troubleshoot. But it can be avoided.

    I do have one hurdle I forgot to mention. I don't think it's the fault of the repack, but maybe someone can help me anyway. The problem is I can't create a character from a Burning Crusade race, such as Blood Elf. It's grayed out, and it says I need to have The Burning Crusade. My client does have TBC installed.

    I put my BC disc into the server's drive to make sure, and it sure enough said "Play Burning Crusade" or uninstall. There was no install option. (I installed WoW straight from a WOTLK DVD onto the server.) I tested the same thing on my client computer, and the same thing happened.

    This leads me to believe that lack of TBC install data cannot be the problem. Am I missing an option in a config file that enables TBC content?

    Check the addon level of your character in your characters database. It should be set at 2 for WotLK content to work.

    YES! It wasn't the db you said, but I knew what you meant. I changed my account's expansion level to 2. That fixed it. Yus!

    Question does this filebeam database work perfectly w/ my repack?
    For trinity2 core? or Straight YTDB? Possibly already converted?

    If I get time I'll do some testing but an answer would be nice too.

    Converted YTDB DataBase for Trinity2

    This project is supported by russian TC2 Enthusiasts.
    Also you can find there some compiled trinity2 cores.

    As they noticed BOT patches are causing server crashes, thus they dont include any BOT patches in their compiles.

    Where is that configuration?
    i can't deactivated the ANTI-CHEAT config.?

    can you put the Trinityconf file here for only remplace this one?
