OK starting over now and winrar keeps telling me all the repack files are corrupt

Well I tried anyway and upon starting the server I got the error message saying msvcr71.dll was not found. I'm clueless here lol.

Make sure you have the .NET Framework 3.5 and you can just download the msvcr71.dll just do a search for it. I found it on some DLL Library site.

Thanks for the advice. I did install framework 3.5 and downloaded the dll file. Now I get no more error messages but it crashes on startup. I have followed the instructions to a T but just can't seem to get past this point.

I'd say give up at this point lol and go play on a private server that gives you admin lol o.o

it doesn't work, I get the error "DB table 'mangos_string' is empty" I have looked at the table, and sure enough, it's empty, note I have used this database before for mangos 2.4.3, so I hit update table (mangos_string) which pulls up the correct info, so I save it, but it DON'T SAVE. Any way to fix this short of reuploading the database. thanks

ps I'm using sqlyog

Lol I hate to give up. I can't help but wonder if i aint missing some files or something. Since I reformatted I reinstalled WoW and updated to latest then DL'd wotlk and installed that. Then I ran the ad in my WoW folder and moved the maps to the repack folder on my desktop and deleted the dbc folder it placed in my folder. All other steps have been followed. I'll keep pluggin away at it.

OK again I'd like to stress here that winrar states all files in repack folder are corrupt. Infact one of the links provided did not include a dbc folder when extracted. Is there a another link to a copy that is complete with no errors?

Personally I'm still using SVN, as Mangos has switched to Git, well I hope this helps you out, and as a side note, I did everything in my power to make this repack work- using the latest core only creates more issues. I suggest trying some other repack if you want success.

This repack is kinda outdated now, but I wont release anymore for MaNGOS from now.

I've already started working on a repack based on NCDB.

I have changed Naxxramas to 80 and Scripted it all so far. It's not ready yet. The repack will be released as soon as possible.
