lmao this sucks, everyone is havin probs... its taking ages, and it probably won't finish without any errors somewhere. ima just gonna leave it and find anotherone somewhere else if there is one lol.

at me in like 30 minutes is finished the DB ... but i have a problem , when i stard mangosd.exe it closes automatically, with an mysql error ... cannot connect blah blah... i configured it good but no chance ..

Me using sqlyog community edition it took me about 3mins to execute and I have duel core not quad... People read the posts before complaining, most of the posts in here are just people saying the same thing again and again even though the fixes have been said.

When i start MaNGOS.EXE it runs fine, up until it says "realmd priority class set to high" which is only about the fourth line. After this, a little window pops up, the little blue restarter box, and it says " crashed" . Also, when i run mangosd.exe, it closes automatically. i figured that mangosd closes because i have never fully run the re starter, but i am not sure. i have a feeling that my problems are from my probably terrible configuration of mangosd and realmd, but i am not sure. i have configured my files as such

Moffeman, your repack is leeched and I have proof. It's on a bulgarian community site with some noobs I know who leeched it. I was going to put it there first but after I got your permission which I asked you with my first post in this thread, and I never got it. I know the guy's name here on MMOwned.

Oh yeah...


Open mangosd.conf, find MOTD where it says Moffeman "blah blah", and delete/change it. The server doesnt start because of the too long MOTD I think.

Hi ,for resolve it Download the last SQLyog comunity Edition , go into Download - SQLyog MySQL Frontend, MONyog MySQL Monitoring Tool

Binaries - Windows
SQLyog MySQL GUI - Community Edition 7.13 (Stable)

15 min charge the db.(whit the 6.51version SQLyog,i am the same problem 140mb=12hours uffff)

Sweet this is the best wotlk release online, use vmaps there is a link somewhere in this forum vmaps will fix some "jumping" mobs

Thanks for the repack! But I need some help. I login with a dwarf hunter and there was a LOT of weird things: rabits looks as tall humanoids, all the npc had the cracked box intead of weapons... There are some portals and undead npc around.

Is this a crazy fun server or I did something REALLY wrong?

I'm having a slight problem, when I try to run realmd.exe and mangos.exe, I get the error, cannot connect to database. Says something else about not being allowed to connect, too. Any ideas? I edited the 127.0.0.1 address to my Hamachi address in both config files, once in realmd.conf and three times in mangos.conf and I also changed it in realmlist on Navicat. Any help is greatly appreciated

EDIT: I'm running everything as admin too, on Vista. Another question, where it says root;root, is that the username and password from MySQL that I set up earlier? So if I used a different username or password, I would have to change those?
