How do I make SQLyog speed faster? It was on 70 MB yesterday and that was for 5 hours. And then my comp crashed.

I know everyone keeps bragging about sqylog but I had the same problem with it taking forever so i used Navicat Lite, took all of 10 minutes and it was done.

That was the first thing I tried with lol. It was so slow. And then I tried with SQLyog. Slow again.

@ jimei, did the max_allowed_packet change work for you? hope so. it is a beastly db weighing in at what.. 400mb? lol.

@ homeboysa, might wanna try emptying the table and reimporting. did you run any additional sql files? i recall doing that on some other database where i was running the ones in the updates folder and it deleted or emptied that table. just execute the single sql file included, nothing else.

@ locksoft, just type help in mangosd console. it'll list all commands. and just type each one to see syntax. and for your differing dbc/maps, i'm just thinking you may have used wrong ad.exe, i dunno...

thanks scol, problem is that I can't even reach the console commands, it stops earlier with the "DBC files" problem. anyone knows where to download a zipped version of these files (or upload them somewhere)? just the two files I mentioned:

battlemasterlist.dbc
map.dbc

all my rep for a horse! :]

Yup I have the same problem with the DBC. I copy/pasted the extracted ones and replaced the original. I'm gonna download the repack again because I didnt make a backup and try with the original DBC files.

Ok I had success by changing the DBC files with the originals. Now I have the groups error, and I just have to empty the table in SQLyog now

in mangosd.conf, do i change LoginDatabaseInfo, WorldDatabaseInfo, and CharacterDatabaseInfo so they all have the same 127.0.0.1;3306;root;root;moffemanworld , and if not what one do i change?

Can the repack made for a public server? cuz i have a problem when i type my ip in my realmlist it can't connect but when it's on 127.0.0.1 it connects... why ? please help

You must change your realmlist table in the realmd database to your IP. Then it should work.
