I appreciate all the work you've put into this. I would desperately live to try it out. I recently started playing on Project Ascension and I don't care for it. I want something more like WotLK retail, with the ability for single player and small group. I'm hoping this is it.
Unfortunately, I have not been able to try it as your links are redirecting to a spam page, which, once you get through all the ads, links to a dead page (if you can get there due to all the ads and redirects).
Could you please update your links or provide an alternative location as to where we can download the files?
Thank you.

@Budicles @Ratliff641
I recorded a video on how to get to the download link. Basically you stay on the same tab without wasting time with the other tabs it opens.

The only way i know of is to edit your progress tier directly in the database. Maybe you should ask in the individual progression github if there's other ways.

I only do updates every 4 weeks or so. So 3 weeks from now.

So - a question for those in the know please.
How are people running this repack backing up their character data/settings etc from the server?
I have a rudimentary solution in place right now that involves manually shutting down the World Server, Auth Server and SQL Server, then running a backup across the network to a Synology NAS using Active Backup for Business, then manually restarting the SQL Server, Auth Server and World Server.
All of this when I remember to do it, which isn't ideal.
Any ideas to automate this stuff? I'm making the assumption that all the servers need to be shut down in order to do a backup - working on the basis that SQL servers typically can't be backed up when online (that said, is backing up just the files themselves with the SQL server enough?)
I'd be delighted for any ideas, particularly if you have tested your methodology.
Many thanks for any thoughts and contributions!

I am using Cobian Reflector for automated backups of the SQL data:
Download Cobian Reflector - MajorGeeks
I have our server set to automatically backup the entire "mysql" folder to a separate SSD at 5AM every day. It's about ~25GB per backup, and I have it set to keep three days worth and it automatically deletes the oldest file upon backing up the newest. The server and database do not have to be shutdown for the backup if you enable "use volume shadow copies." I recently did a complete reinstall of the repack and copied the latest sql backup to the new install without a hitch.
AFA server settings, I just keep a backup folder of all the conf files. This makes it easy when there is an update, as you just copy the files from the backup to the folders needed and overwrite them.

I have been trying to restore my savegame but haven't been able to do it.
I have properly installed PowerShell 7 but I can't get it right.
If the creator or anyone could make a short video showing step by step on how to restore savegames, I'd appreciate it.

Came back here to install the version with Individual Progression on another machine I own and your links don't go to any download. They just spam us with ads. Says complete captcha and click continue to download the repack - clicking to do the captcha opens another ad, then you close that ad, click the box then click continue, and this leads to not only one more ad, but opens another tab that is also an ad
What happened here lol? It's literally impossible to get the repack like this. You mentioned in a previous comment to just stay on the original tab that was opened by the download link but it just redirects to more ad pages over and over again.

2 ways:
1. Backup entire database. Advantages: everything will be the same. Disavantages: Size, time, and you need to close server to peform backup.
2. Backup characters using my autobackup script ((AzerothCore) Autobackup script). Advantages: Size (less than 200kb per character per backup), time and the backups occur while the server is running. Disavantages: You need the names of the characters, and restoring them require running the restore script which can take some time of manual input.

Check the video a few posts above. I show how to get the link using Chrome, but the process should be the same in any browser.

Not possible without editing the database directly. What you can do is use autobalance to make the mobs easier.

I understand, where can I make this change? I made a change here to see if it could be here, but I didn't understand much. There are many options like this.

What step in particular did you fail at?

Lower value = more difficult mobs.
