Fireball to frostbolt, instant cast

With WPE, you could swap frostbolt with fireball.
I was wondering if you swap them, and it will still pop brain freeze, giving you an instant frostbolt (which is more powerful with a frost spec, or so it seems vs training dummys (5.2k crits vs 7.1k)). Im posting it here because something in my gut tells me there is something wrong with this idea :/

Swapping the animations =/= swapping the actual spells, if that's what you're implying.
