WoWUnleashed Owned *Stealing Characters*

Several minutes ago, I stole the admin's character on WoW unleashed. Havoc. Shortly after, I was banned, but hey, its all part of the game right?


This is how I did it. WoWunleashed has a character transfer feature. Unfortunately ( or fortunately...) they didnt put much security in it. Normally when you transfer a character from one account to the other, both parties have to accept. However, by typing in http://www.wowunleashed.net/transfer.php?accept=xxxx. Of course, you have to replace the x's with actual numbers, anywhere from 1-19,000. This bypasses the transfer process and lets you steal characters. This probably will be fixed pretty soon, since I did accidentally steal both of the admin's characters, but yall can still try and get in on some of the action.

Even if its not working when you try, there are still plenty of reasons for playing on that server. Its european, so the times are a bit off, but other than that its a fantastic server. Great uptime, most stuff works, and alot is scripted. If you want to play there, hit me up with a PM and we can screw around on that server.

I Don't think that you can do any thing with that char even if you steal it Cuz The ACC is Admin/GM's Not teh Character...

Guess its fixed already. And I realize that the admins characters werent GM status, but its still kinda cool to have 100,000 gold on a character.

And .pwn, you definitely have to read the part about where you change the x's to numbers. It works better that way.

Sorry guys, but im reporting this to the admin now, even if it's already fixed ;P WoWunleashed doesn't deserve hacking It's the best server ;] So no exploiting on my watch there

Lol, i cannot do a crap that you are hacking on WoWUnleashed, but i suggest you to not do it ... Since it's the best server cus im not a GM there... but if i were then i would ban you instantly xD

To be honest, its the principle of the thing that pisses me off. Its already fixed, but you going and reporting it to admins, and then coming back here and announcing it? Yeah, classy.

I don't see the point of doing this exploit when it worked, since all gms can see what you do and you get instant banned, thats like epic fail exploits... xO

Actually no. This exploit was great until I accidentally stole Havoc's character. My other accounts stole other peoples characters and got the loot off them, then laundered it into my main account. BoE epics, pots, all kind of shit. Plus, theres over 11,000 characters made, and only 90 online at peak times. Most of those people werent even using their characters.

lol, but they still see the logs, so you get banned as soon as a GM reads it, i see no point with this exploit anyway... And im going to bed now so:
