    I suggest : Ivor Horton's Beginning Visual C++ 2008 ... If you dont know much about programming or CPP you at least need somewhere to start right.
    Also could look at microsoft.com and search for Visual C++ 2008

    Google: Learning Visual C++ 2008 or google Learning Visual C++
